Can GWS, Sydney, Essendon and Collingwood please be kicked out of the AFL and be replaced by 4 state league teams like Norwood and Port Melbourne?  ::) :P

There there Nigey Richmond's season hasn't started yet

Toga

Who are they gonna be hoping for then? Not as if Port are going to give up one of their stars so not really sure what they're expecting ???

Patrick Keane ‏@AFL_PKeane 22s

AFL today advised clubs that Free Agency Compensation will be advised at time of player move, not at end of Free Agency Period as previously.

Patrick Keane ‏@AFL_PKeane 15s

AFL also issued updated Free Agency list to all clubs. 1 Restricted Free Agent (Shaun Higgins) and 13 Unrestricted Free Agents remain.
do we know who the 13 are??
Jason Porplyzia - Adelaide
Jarrad Waite - Carlton
Leroy Jetta - Essendon
Dustin Fletcher - Essendon
Luke McPharlin - Fremantle
Brad Sewell - Hawthorn
James Frawley - Melbourne
Michael Firrito - N/Melbourne
Tom Logan - P/Adelaide
James Gwilt - St.Kilda
Clint Jones - St.Kilda
Adam Goodes - Sydney
Nick Malceski - Sydney
Thanks Nige.

Wasnt Gwilt and Jones delisted and Jetta left/quit/retired??

Porp wont get another contract and i think Sewell will stay as Rioli may retire!!

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but Gwilt and Jones are still on St Kilda list. They're just been told they will not be offered new contracts. After October 31 they become delisted free agents.

Really surprised to read that Joel Patfull wants to be traded to Sydney

strikes91

Chasing success. Don't blame him his career is running out. I'm expecting that this comes into a beams trade as well.

Toga

Wow, would not have expected that! Where did you here that RD?

Especially after I saw an article only a few weeks ago about Brisbane starting to build a really strong SA contingent. But yeah I guess he's after some success before it's too late.

Ricochet

yeh also read that. was on the free agency Facebook page I think

kilbluff1985

so when does it start tomorrow is it?

Nige

Wow, Patfull would be a massive loss for Brisbane. One of their better players and a strong leader at the club.

Assuming Eski leaves, he'd slot straight in (probably would even if Eski didn't).

wonder how much money the AFL gets for having NAB before everything ::)

Patful has made it known that he wants to base his after football pursuits in Sydney and this is where the rumours started. Patful is contracted for 12 months and will become a restricted free agent next year so in our interests to get a trade done if possible.
He has stated no preference for either team so a 3 way trade with GWS to get Beams may eventuate giving Pies 2 first round picks. Brisbane are not keen on giving up second round pick until after Academy bidding as it is suspected 2nd pick may be required to secure Liam Dawson.
Would not mind this eventuating but probably unlikely Sydney give Pies Malceski, Brisbane give Sydney Patful and Pies give Beams.

Another player who may be offered as trade bait is Daniel Merrett, Merett has admitted form this year was down and may benefit from a new environment.

Read it on Herald Sun

Also Sauce Merrett is shopping around now and looking at options to leave
