Ben Lennon has requested a trade.

that's strange. he signed on for 2 years in October last year. seriously what is a contract these days

Yeah, he's doging out because he only played 3 senior games this year.

Part of that is because he was injured for half the games this season (concussion, shoulder, ankle).

Should realise that he's absolutely a lock to play plenty more games in 2017.

I mean, as ele's said, he's pretty good as a forward and would rotate through a bit plus blokes like Vlastuin somehow can't even get permanent midfield minutes for god knows why.

Yep, as the Eagles were with Sheed. In fact I believe there was some annoyance among Blues fans that they didn't snare a key forward, though in hindsight its lucky they didnt! Cam McCarthy wouldn't be anywhere near as helpful as Patty Cripps right now :p

This is one thing I don't like, he has played 3 seasons of football at a club that isn't exactly looking that great on form right now. If he has good form you would expect him to play based on Richmond's position. How can you request a trade due to a lack of senior games? Does he expect them to just be given to him and if they aren't he is just going to bail to a crappier team that will?

Who would pick up Lennon if he can only get 3 games for Richmond?
Marcon and McBean have more value, especially Marcon showed promise.

Exactly why I'm filthy, he's just being a little dog I reckon. The fact he wanted out last year too kinda adds to it.

As I've said, still a pretty good chance he gets plenty of games next season. Should just see out his contract and if he's still not getting games, then he have a whinge. But whatever, contracts mean nothing anymore and if his head and heart aren't at the club, he shouldn't be either.
