Freeman makes things interesting regarding Carlisle

Saints don't want to give their 1st pick for Carlisle and probably feel the same with Freeman

so if they get one of them with their 2nd rounder + player or whatever how will they get the other

I'm still confident that Carlisle will be traded for our 2nd rounder + player...

So unless the Pies will take our 3rd rounder... I have no idea on how he will get to us... Without having to do something with our top pick... Or we trade 2nd rounder of next year for Freeman?

You always gotta ask, where would you take them if they were in this year's draft? Considering the apparent drop off after the top 10, both Freeman and Carlisle seem like they wouldn't make it past a late first round pick. Makes me wonder what players the Saints would consider trading

Never underestimate the power of money this will be his last big contract and have seen the figure of 800k that geelong is offering whether that is correct I don't know but he will command way more than that , I'm sure he will not mind driving from Melbourne to Geelong for a few 100K more or he could just do a Bronnie Bishop  :P

Way too hard to value him. Fact is he was pick 10 only two seasons ago and we paid to have his hammies fixed by specialists from other sides of the world for memory. Not sure it worked but we invested heavily in him. Don't know if that "increases" his price from a 3rd rounder to a 2nd rounder, but can't see us accepting anything less than like pick 25 for him. Surely we will get your second rounder from next season instead minimum

Melbourne, Richmond and St Kilda all supposedly have up to an extra 500K a season in salary cap room for next year given their salary cap numbers for this year apparently...
