Word is that the AFL banned SYD from bringing players in because they were the club that Griffen requested to be traded to, after they offered him a big money contract. HOW?

Word is he was approached during the year. Though I heard it was only GWS that approached him.

Sydney wouldn't have been able to take Ryder or Griffen anyway considering Goodes didn't retire.

I mean we couldn't even keep Malceski...
