Whats the point of Ryder leaving now anyway? If the supplements might hurt his unborn child moving states won't exactly cure it.

Its Ryder's excuse to leave a sinking ship should of left when Gus and Crameris left

exactly

yeah, like, what's the point of leaving your girlfriend if she cheated on you and gave you AIDS. She promised not to do it again, and it's not like breaking up with her is going to cure your AIDS and uncheat her on you.

good point.

I am convinced.

now all we need is for Ryder to see this post.

If his going to have children then yeah the smart thing to do is inject pig intestines or whatever it was into your body

I don't care if it was sanctioned by the AFL if he really cared about his family he wouldn't do it.

Ryder is just another attention seeking player. If he took the drugs than he will be found guilty and get punished like the rest of them anyway. His nowhere near an innocent person in all of this.

The players are absolvable of blame, but that doesn't mean they're the ones ultimately in the wrong here.

You were a little vague, but I assume we're still referring to AOD-9604? Do you think any of the players had any idea of what was going into them? I doubt most of them even knew the name of the drug, let alone whether it was approved (which it wasn't) or potential side effects. They would of assumed that the club and their licensed officials knew what they were doing- hence the claim that essendon breached their duty of care.

Think about all the vaccinations etc. people take, especially at school etc. The majority of people don't even question it, you just go and get it, most parents give their consent without looking into what tests the vaccinations have passed, potential side effects etc. If schools started being like- here, have this ebola vaccine, it'll stop your kids dying a hideous death, a large majority of people would jump on it without even looking at the trials that have been run. If it then turns out the drug adverse affects like, for instance, thalidomide and hadn't passed proper trials, yeah the parents would be to blame for not checking up on that shower, but the schools would still get absolutely destroyed for having breached their duty of care.

Same concept.

(note, I'm not saying that vaccines should be inherently treated as suspicious/ bad, because they're not and anyone who believes so is an ignorant danger to society, but it's just being used as an example).

So yeah, we have legal precedents in place which means that maybe Ryder + all the AOD takers deserve punishment, but that doesn't mean essendon didn't royally flower them over and that they aren't in their rights to leave the club. I know I've taken flu vaccines from the doctor without asking specifically what strands it protects against/ what trials it's undergone, doesn't mean I don't   'really care about [my] family'.

That's a huge flowering call to make on someone, and you should have some flowering concrete proof to back it up before you start throwing it around.

yeah but besides the media beat up
what exactly could harm his unborn child?

AOD? you mean the drug that is approved now for testing in America?.....looks lie a lot of lawsuits in the states are coming then

or the fact essendon say they cannot say exactly what they took?
if that is the case ofc you can claim it could harm your unborn if you took    a or B even if it was never took

not saying Essendon has done nothing wrong at all but i'd like to see the truth to the damage rather then scare tactics to get players to actually make deals with ASADA

SEN trade Sentral: Daniel Harford says Geelong's Allen Christensen could request a trade to Queensland club today, stay tuned

Kaine Reynolds ‏@kreyn29 2m2 minutes ago

Christensen is from Lara, grew up a Geelong fan and has said that he'd never want to be anywhere else. Would be stunned if rumour is true.

Bombers keen on Jaksch
As AFL.com.au reported that Greater Western Sydney tall Kristian Jaksch may find it difficult moving to preferred destination Carlton, it emerged Essendon was interested in the 20-year-old.

The Herald Sun reports the Bombers are keen to make a pitch to Jaksch, who has so far not considered them as a possible new home.

Essendon would be a good club to move to.

He'd be an absolute lock in their best 5 after the bans are handed out.

Seems no doubt Allen Christensen wants out of Geelong. Believes the town - not the club - has become toxic for him. Time for a change
