Jones has agreed to terms with the Blues and both clubs are believed to be satisfied pick No.43 is a sufficient swap.

Sounds like Dalrymple is not satisfied with pick 43 for Jones. "Key forwards who dominate state league football don't grow on trees"

Said he expected to, and would have been happy to give up pick 25 for Cordy.

Said we've had no talks with Jaksch.

Might be looking for an experienced key back (Merrett?)

Unlikely to try to trade up to a top 3 pick to grab McCartin

They haven't been able to come up with a deal that keeps him happy (he is out of contract), so if he's on the move I think a pick in the second round would almost get it done.

Yeah but the Tiges have shown interest in him what do you think they would give Norf for him there first round ?

If they did offer pick 11, I'd take it. Think thats overs for Richmond.

Greenwood is good, but not that good. Hence the early second from Brisbane/Collingwood.

It is overs by a bit I just think pick 24 is a bit under his value and who knows what other teams would offer plus there giving up a mid 30's pick for mid 40's one as well

Collingwood gives: Beams and picks 30 and 65
Collingwood receives: Greenwood and pick 4

Brisbane gives: picks 4 and 24
Brisbane receives: Beams and pick 30

North gives: Greenwood
North recieves: picks 24 and 65. 30

Thoughts on those changes?

Yeah I don't really know how much Greenwood will be worth. Maybe you guys give us 37 like you said. Also depends on whether we lose any of Merrett/Patfull, and what we get in return if they are to leave.

I reckon North's pick 37 would get it done. An early second pick and pick upgrade is about the right price IMO.

I think Greenwood's currency just went up if he is really leaving lets just see what unfolds but he going to create great interest

Yeah it will be interesting to see if he has actually nominated Collingwood yet. A few clubs are obviously interested, so if he was going to leave there might be a few clubs putting nice contracts in front of him
