Jordan Lisle, Patrick Wearden, Andrew Raines and James Polkinghorne have all been delisted by the Club, along with rookies Nicholas Hayes, Sam Michael and Isaac Conway.

Has anyone seen or heard from nrich?  :-\

Lisle's a surprise.

Capper

Lisle and Michael are surprising for me.

Michael had been a project tall forward that was rucking also

GoLions

Surprised by Lisle, thought we'd keep him, but perhaps Freeman and McStay performing alright has pushed him way back

How long until we can get rid of McGuane?

Ringo

Must admit I was surprised with Lisle as well but he has had some opportunities and has not grasped them like Freeman. Close and McStay have. Has been shining in the NEAFL and has kicked a number of goals each week. Would have de-listed McGuane before Lisle myself and Lisle is 2 years younger,

Wearden is also a surprise as he is yet to make his debut but has really been crueled by injury.  Just when he starts to show something in the NEAFL he is off again.  Maybe that is the reason because of injury suspectablity.

Raines and Polkinghorne de-listings not entirely unexpected with the development of youngsters. Crisp. Aish, Mayes, Bewick and Lester have all passed both.

All our Rookie players except Archie Smith and Jordan Bourke have been delisted.

Michael had been on the rookie list for 3 years and obviously decision had to be made whether to upgrade or de-list. So decision made to delist.

Hayes must have been close to getting a call up following outstanding NEAFL for. Wonder whether one of the SA teams will make a play as he has only just turned 20.

Conway de-listing is a real surprise though given he was only drafted to rookie list last year. Maybe a victim of mids depth but surely we would re-draft him. Is a born and bred Queenslander and first player from the Lions Academy to be drafted.  maybe Eddie wants him? Still only 19.

James Polkinghorne loved it. Dressed up as Dame Edna Everage.

Reckon there could be some clubs willing to offer Lisle another go as a delisted free agent. Only 23-24...

If that doesn't happen, then I reckon Brisbane would redraft him as a rookie. Definitely surprising.

roo boys!

Ringo

To be fair Lisle has had opportunities and has not impressed 2 coaches now.

Took Dale Kickett 5 clubs to get it right. Who knows?  :P

Nige

Lisle left the Hawks in search of more opportunity and despite the Lions kinda having trouble with forwards he still couldn't impress enough to get a gig. Gonna be interesting to see if he gets to a third club.

Capper

Im sure Lisle will find another club
