Mexico City give: Matthew Pavlich, James Kelly, Brendon Ah Chee + Pick 83
Toronto give: Michael Johnson, Mark Whiley + Picks 32, 74

I like Pav, but he's going to be fwd depth so I can trade him to Toronto who need fwds. Whiley is young and I think he will get games next year. Johnson is a slight upgrade on Kelly.

RB to confirm.
Confirm

Pav gives the security I need in case Ziebell and/or Ryder don't get the fwd DPP I've planned for, and the doubt that hangs over Robbo's head makes me hesitant to have him locked in as my 4th forward. Pav allows me an extra season (assuming that's all he's got left) to suss out all these variables. Shame to downgrade club champion Johnson but had to be done to land Pavlich

Purple 77

Berlin trade: Jason Tutt, Nathan Wilson + Pick 81
Buenos Aires trade: Daniel Cross

Just grabbing some midfield depth. IT IS NOT BECAUSE HE IS A DEMON EITHER! I asked for Kane Cornes first before I realised he was already traded  :P Tutt is an unknown, and Cross will be of more use to me than him. Wilson and Pick 81 is just bridging the gap.

Vin to confirm

Hahaha another Dee for Purps! Confirm.

Seriously though, Cross is of no use to us. A handy 90 average midfielder but only one year left. Tutt and spuds will add some more depth to our team. Tutt probably won't play more than 5 games next year but hopefully he can become a decent player in the future. Gives us another forward as well. Plus a pick to make numbers if necessary.

Thanks mate!

Toga

TORONTO give: T.Jonas
BEIJING give: K.Mitchell + H.Schade + A.Toovey + N82

Pretty much we've got around 43(ish) guys on our list at the moment so this is a quality vs quantity trade for us. Good way to improve our depth quality and reduce our list size, while roo boys needed to fill up his list a bit.

roo boys! to confirm :)

Confirmed.

Toga has been keen on Jonas all trade period so I glad a deal finally got done. With a lot of defensive depth I saw it as an opportunity to improve my midfield stocks with Mitchell, and hopefully Schade can replace Jonas in time. Toovey just for numbers as my initial list review a couple days ago saw my number of senior players at about 33, with only the two late picks.

Bit late to the party? Just a little.

Toga

Beijing give: Elliot Yeo + Robbie Tarrant + Max Duffy
Rio de Janeiro give: Jared Polec

Again looking to improve our midfield a bit as it has been a bit shallow this season - Polec will slot straight into our midfield, meaning Grundy won't have to play on the interchange anymore until he has developed a bit more. Sad to see Yeo go, as he has been a handy defender, but feel like we can cover him down back now and its worth moving him on for Polec. Taz and Duffy are two with a bit of potential to sweeten the deal for Rio!

Levis to confirm, cheers mate :)

Confirmed.

Our back depth isn't great so Yeo helps out a lot back there. Losing Polec hurts but we have solid midfield depth.

Boomz

Tokyo Trade: Trent West
Cape Town Trade: Pick 45

Don't need West and the pick will be handy.

AaronKirk

OK another NY trade

New York Trade: Pick 44 + Pick 72
Tokyo Trade: Brodie Murdoch

reasoning: Murdoch has shown a bit and is worth the spend to get a good youngster in a side where he should get a lot of games. don't rate the low end of the draft this year so am happy to use the picks.

Boomz to confirm.

Confirm.

The only real reason we wanted West is because we have Stefan Martin as our #1 ruck so for depth. Also not sure we'd get a decent player with this pick - at least not someone who will be good anytime soon.
