Two Cairo depth favourites sadly depart, thanks for the memories friends. Vin has agreed to refer to them as 'gun depth players' rather than 'spuds' since that's what they are. N38 should get someone good, plus it's that pick in the 30s we were after.

We feel that one of players we want will still be available at Pick 5 so dropping back a spot in the first round to get a couple of later pick upgrades is a good deal for us.

Especially as we will probably use most of our picks given the retirements of K Hunt and N Bock and a few of our other players getting delisted by their AFL clubs.

Reasoning: Cornes + Hale probably only have 1 year left each but I am happy to take a chance on them. Even though I think Newton + Graham will be great players in years to come. Foley + Nahas are Vin's much needed "spuds" but could perhaps provide some depth.

This trade adds some much needed depth to the Dildos and helps out our midfield. I like Graham and there is chance of him getting DPP and hopefully Newton can get some games next season for the Dees after performing consistently in the SANFL. Foley and Nahas are purely for cap reasons and Foley will add some depth too for one season. Cornes and Hale both are likely to have 1-2 years left maximum so they are no use at all to us but depsite this, both are decent scorers. Thanks Levis, finally got it done man!

A ton of interest in Lonergan and sad to see him go but Mexico was persistent and finally got a deal done that I'm satisfied with. Hewett should be good in the long term and pick 37 is decent enough.
