Christchurch trade: Mitch Golby
Berlin trade: Jeff Garlett

Reason: Need forwards more than backs, and I think Jeffy can get his shower together at Melbourne and return to the player he used to be.

Just resubmitting this one as it was only initially rejected because we didn't have the pick (39) we offered

New York give: Aaron Black and Pick 41
Beijing give: Matt Rosa

Toga to confirm

Confirm - same reasons as last time, just trying to strengthen up our forwards a bit. Same deal, just using a pick that NY definitely have this time!

Jroo

Mexico give: Daniel Merrett, Ciaran Sheehan + Pick 62
Toronto give: Matt Shaw, Tom Bell + Picks 68, 86

Sad to see Sheehan go, as I brought him in for a reason, I think he's got a lot of talent. Merrett is also ok, with Patful gone he should go back to playing in defence, or could possibly move clubs which should see his scoring increase.

Shaw and a Bell should provide decent depth, though. The small pick upgrade helps even up the trade and 86 was chucked in for free because RB is a good guy 8)

RB to confirm.

Confirmed

Main reason of this deal was to grab Sheehan as I see him as the man to replace my very old defence, need a youngster who's shown a lot of talent and certain to be a defender next year, whereas Shaw has a bit of a question mark over his head whether he'll become a midfielder only, which would be pointless to me. Merrett joins the line of defenders possible to average 60-80, and as a result he'll probably get a few games here and there.

As for pick 86, well, what can I say. It's what I do.

Jay

Pacific give: NAT Pick #40
Mexico City give: Adam Goodes + James Strauss

We needed some more depth in the forward line and Goodes should help with that. Strauss may not play next year but its worth the risk and pick 40 was expendable for us.

Confirmed. Goodes was going to be depth for us, but with pick 40 it allows us to get some youth in, so had to take it.

Jroo

Mexico City give: Tom Bell
New Delhi: Shaun Hampson

Hampson is the biggest spud ever, but need him to go along with Maric.

Ric/Ele to confirm.

Thank flower, those negotiations only took 10 years.

Christchurch trade: Jay Kennedy-Harris
Berlin trade: Clay Cameron

Reason: I think Cameron showed as much promise as JKH, and would like a defender instead of a forward.

Confirmed.

Cameron showed signs this year, but, like JKH actually, an average around 45 seems to be destined. I reckon JKH in the long run might be able to average more than a KPP, but time will tell.

PS: JKH!

PPS: (directed at ossie).... not a word, brother. Not a word  :P

Christchurch trade: Jarryd Roughead, Rory Sloane, picks 37 and 43

agreed.

the general consensus was I was giving a little too much. so the picks added to balance the trade up abit more. Will have pick 37 39 and 43 in the draft and will be taking some big punts so maybe one will come off.
