Riska, Neale and Watts stood up when we needed them too.

Thanks Rusty for the game and good luck next year!

Thanks to Ringo for running this amazing comp!

Thanks to my partners in crime Elephants and Ricochet for their continued Hedgie spirit, support, planning and management.

Lastly, thank you to the players for stepping up when requires. Big thanks to Parker and Greenwood who continually smashed out big scores all year!

Go Hebdenbridge Hedgehogs!! BXV Premiers 2014!!! :D

Ringo

Just a reminder no Bonus in finals either.

So we congratulate the Hedgehogs on winning the premiership for 2015.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 29.13.187 defeated Winchester Werewolves 25.13.163
Werewolves were decimated by injury in the latter half of the season after being some dominant early,  They will look to bounce back next year and again challenge for the title. The Hedgehogs finished the season strongly and are deserving winners of the Champions Trophy. They now have a target on their back for teams to chase down next year.

In the Patrons Plate Final.
Birmingham Dragons 25.10.160 defeated Liverpool Rams 22.14.146
Both teams were depleted by injury in the final but Dragons with their better depth were able to get over the Rams. The Dragons really finished the season strongly on the back of strong performances by their Captain Tom Rockliff and showed enough to indicate they will strongly challenge the Top 8 next season.  The Rams enjoyed a a strong season as well and they too showed they cab challenge for the 8.

I would like to thank all coaches for their participation in this competition making it enjoyable to administer,  although at times I get frustrated, for all to enjoy.

We now look forward to trading and drafting for next season and  a strong competition with a 16 team competition. I have said a number of teams competition is strong and most teams can beat each other when fielding strongest teams. To illustrate the point all teams except Steins scored more than 1700 points at least twice during the season. There were some occasions where teams scoring 1900 points were beaten.

Looking forward to now watching teams during the trading season.

:'(

We are committed to improving this team though and a nice #1 National Draft pick should help :D :D

Congrats Hebden Bridge to the loser...I think you need a ruckman - we may have one available #tradetalk

Ringo

Know you are memph but just making a point that most teams can be competitive with best teams available based on this years results.

Watch that No 1 pick.

We shall watch it like a hawk. If you want it you'll have to cough up a dead set gun (and even then maybe something extra :P)
