After hearing Nails side of the story though I can say that nothing dodgy is going on, he just has a hard decision

Due to the fact my trade with Vinny isn't guaranteed to happy I think I'll have to take this kid.

Do I kind of feel like I should be maybe taking the other player? Sort of. Being on the wrong side of 25 means he might not be averaging high enough when we're at our peak. He would be sexy and I would kind of like to use him as a perma capt. I know what I'll get.

That said there are thoughts running through my head "what if" - what if I don't take this kid who averages similar first year numbers as these other kids. What if I don't select him and he becomes a 134 average Libba or a 136 average Treloar or a 132 average Prestia. Is he guaranteed to turn out this good? No way, he might turn into some 110 average player, but I can't turn up the chance that he could become a super premium and the chance he could do it for 5-6 seasons more than the other player I'm considering. With 4 tons in his last 8 games he seems to be going in the right direction.

Therefore I'm very glad to welcome our new favourite son, our potential future perma capt...

Without disclosing who has the best stats for the recycled players for the season Jordan Lewis was second in averages which is why Breakers selected Jordan Lewis and the fact he will not attract a tag in the Hawks line up. Was a toss up between Lewis and Gibbs and we went with Lewis based on stats.

It is over to SR but as he is in WA may be a while before he picks.
