Why he flower does he need to be rested? 2 games to go and they wont make finals

Well that's not necessarily true..
Richmond win this week against the saints and Adelaide lose to North then Richmond are in the 8 and it's there spot to lose.
If Sydney figure they are locked into top 2 then they may rest a lot of players like Freo did in round 23 last year.

Not that it has anything to do with it anyway..
Hardwick said Dusty was sore a couple of weeks ago and they considered resting him but played him forward instead. He's played every game and is due for a rest. Good game to do it if your going to

If you can beat the Swans then it doesn't matter if Crows beat North, you will make the 8.

If you can't beat the Swans then you won't make the 8 even if the Crows lose to North because they won't lose to the Saint the following week.

Than means you need Essendon to lose both games v Suns + Blues.

If Essendon lose to Suns then the Suns can make the 8 by beating Eagles.

If Eagles beat the Suns instead (and have already beaten Melbourne) then Eagles make the 8 and you miss out.

I reckon Dusty will get rested, thought he would be named as an out yesterday, as he's the first one that came to mind if we were going to rest anyone.
I'm happy to give him a week off, he's spent a lot of time forward and looks sore.

nostradamus

Ridiculous if they rest him at this stage of the season, pathetic player management really.

I know it's mathematically possible for them to make he finals, but let's be real.......it aint gunna happen and they'll more than likely finish 9th......again.

He would have to be pretty bloody sore to rest him hope they are not taking the saints lightly we saw what they did to Freo the other week  :o

Yep he has to play although games are not quite as demanding as AFL but he seemed to get up like someone who is not that sore  ::)

Adelaides percentage is far superior so we have to win both games and for them to lose 1 of their next 2 or we can't make it

Reckon he'll play. Richmond cannot afford to rest anyone. The outcry should they rest someone and not beat St Kilda convincingly would be deafening.  ;)

Saints will win this game....

1. Lenny's last ever game for the football club

2. Richmond are just like NMFC, they lose the ones they and everyone else expect them to win.....

Dustin Martin has withdrawn from Richmond team for tomorrow's match v St Kilda. Reece Conca comes into 22. Dan Jackson added to emergencies.

Actually really want dusty to pull out of this one. Opponent has no forward cover and I've got Charlie Cameron on the pine. After smurphs heroics last night coupled with 1 mid donut gotta scrape some points back somewhere. Otherwise gonna be some speculative cpt picks.
