Just to add some salt into the wounds, Scott has hinted that Bartel may be rested even if found fit, he's also suggested blooding some new players over the next fortnight. In some better news, SJ appears to be a good chance for the final match.

If anyone manages to field a full squad of 22 they would have to be a good chance at climbing a hell of a lot of rankings this week.

I already have three donuts and that's without JPK/Ward/Suckers or Jimmy among others.

Hoping Bartel plays if not hopefully Bews gets another game 30 odd pts is better than zero

Interesting.. I thought Bartel would of been a pretty good chance to return especially against are top 4 side in Hawthorn..If he doesn't get up I'm hoping Zac Jones gets a recall lol Looking at SJ, I'd be surprised if he gets up for the last round.. I'm preying 'The General' doesn't rear it's ugly head..

Please be out - Bartel JPK Boomer Barlow Suckling

Please play - SJ Pendles

Not asking for a lot.

Beams and Fyfe gone hurts but the above wish list would make things less painful.

Sabretooth Tigers

 :(
Bartel, Stevie J, Beams, Boomer, and possibly Pendles  = no trades. When do the 2015 players prices come out ??  I think I'm ready for next season and can learn from this years mistakes. I'm in 5 Qualifying finals this week and need a gigantic bloody miracle, such is the life of a supercoach. Cheers to all.    ;)

Bartel doubtful?  I don't get how that is implied by what Scott said.  He said if Bartel's not 100% he won't play.

There is no suggestion that Jimmy won't be 100% in time for the game..

Hawthorn is on its doorstep, but Geelongs focus on what lies around the corner is such that it is open to entering Saturday nights game without not only Steve Johnson, but Jimmy Bartel and perhaps Tom Hawkins too.
While Johnsons worrying foot injury will sideline him again, coach Chris Scott on Tuesday named six players the Cats would like to see again at senior level before the finals, and teased that a debut for Jake Kolodjashnij or Jarrad Jansen wouldnt scare them either.
He mused that Bartel (corked thigh) and Jordan Murdoch (hip) could both be passed fit yet still not play, while noting that Hawkins was clearly restricted against Carlton last week and would be rested if expert opinion advised it.

No donuts for me if ZOB plays and one of Pendles/JPK get up. Would be a miracle!
