Who will take home the m0nty?

Just as the Brownlow medal was named after a great administrator, so is the elxam league's medal for most dominant coach. I am, of course, referring to the 'm0nty' medal.



Come join us TUESDAY night 26th August from 7:30pm (AEST), where we start LIVE the countdown to see which one of fanfooty's esteemed coaches can take away the m0nty medal for both Dream Team and SuperCoach. A Red Carpet will begin at 7pm, where we can see our coaches arrive with their partners, and the FRONT BAR will be specially opened serving all sorts of beverages and shenanigans.

Also, for the first time, other competitions (XVs) and ANYONE ELSE that wants to join will be doing counts on the same night....

Each week, votes will be given to the most dominant coaches of the week*.

Remember, this count is about DOMINANCE. Already a gazillion awards based on simple high scores.

I've had to change the formula from last year, basically because KoopKicka's 1000 point margins really throw the system out.

For the first time, I'm telling you the system. It means people, if they are exceptionally keen, can go back and calculate it. But I doubt they will.

Using SuperCoach as an example:

- The top scoring coach is given in 90 points, the second coach is 89, third 88 and last 1 point.
- Added to this score is a margin differential based on who you played. If you were the 11th highest scoring team of the week (80 points) and you played the 41st highest score (50 points), you'd be given the difference (80 - 50) = 30 points. All weeks have 5 matches (except round 2 with 4).

- The total points scored for each coach, are ranked against every other for the week. Coach with most points gets 6 votes, 2nd 5 votes, 3rd 4 votes, 4th 4 votes, 5th 2 votes and 6th 1 vote. Except for round 2, where it is a 5-4-3-2-1.

AFL Fantasy and Real Dream Team are the same, except it is a 72 points, not 90.
