We could arrange trades pre draft?

Hypothetically, if I really wanted Murphy I could go to Memph "hey man, if you take Murphy with pick 1 I'll take Bonty with pick 10ish. Would you do Bonty + player X for Marc?"

Kinda gets around the issue a bit but would need people to be true to their word etc

Don`t see how that would work when you don`t know who the other teams will pick

That's why its not a 100% fix, uts definitely something that could work in conjunction with another solution.

I think most of the ideas have been said so far. I think we should have maybe 3 or so days to trade these picks, maybe first couple of days after the GF finishes. Then we have 2 rounds of picking up these players, and the draft is snaked.

Yeah, this probably won't work, as someone may take Bonty at pick 7 or something .

The idea is to strengthen the bottom teams to even the comp hence why its not snaking
And the options we vote on do not include it and the 2nd one doesn`t even include all teams getting 2 picks anyway

Ringo

Argument about snaking is pointless as you are voting for either a looped draft or Randomised options. Idea is to try and even the competition out but some of you are so intent on looking after yourself that you can not see past your own blindness and look to the benefit of the competition going forward. I personally thought a looped draft in finished order was the fairest way over 2 rounds to try and even the competition but based on some comments looked at randomising.
No matter what I do I am on a hiding to nothing as it is hard to to get a full fair dispersal of players.
Just to show you even finishing order is not a fair way take Magic for example if teams were named properly would have finished higher.  Not meant to be a blight on Torp but just highlighting another little flaw.

I personally think that the trading of the recycled draft picks should not be an option.

This.

But if you look at the Badgers and if they were named properly they would have finished first :P

So many ifs, so many excuses. Fact is its poor coaching.

@Ringo I was joking, LF knows that!

Should I do a phantom draft for the Falcons list? ;)
