Big news, it's being reported that the sub rule will be abolished for next season. Great for fantasy!

@3AWSportsToday: There you have it, Dwayne says there will be NO sub in 2015

@WarnieDT: WOW! The biggest #AFLFantasy news of the day may possibly be what @3AWSportsToday are reporting. NO SUBSTITUTE in 2015! Back to 4 on bench!

@SgtSupercoach: 3AW reporting that there will be no subs next year.

Beat me to it.

Interchange cap reduced to 80 too.

The Players won`t stand for that it`s too low

Jay

Why? The sub rule was a pretty good one imo.

Yeah, that's way too low.

Toga

I like that as it means young guys will get more of a run at it rather than having their debuts soured a bit by spending 3 quarters on the bench. Don't like that interchange reduction though if that's true

Agree with that as well

Jroo

Yep, they reckon rotations capped at 80.
@3AWisfootball: Boom! And rotations capped at 80, he says. RT @3AWSportsToday: There you have it, Dwayne says there will be NO sub in 2015

Ringo

The Interchange cap at 80 is way to low giving 120 is the current limit.  So dropping by a third even though getting rid of sub is still too much.  Maybe 100 would be better,

Yep, that is ridiculous. Will cut the careers short of veterans that can still bring plenty to teams.

Thank god, the sub rule was so useless

If rotations were not capped I would say this means that teams will start carrying two rucks again.

Now just need to get rid of rotation cap  ;D Great news. Interchange cap at 80 is stupid though  ::)
