I understand that we're going through a lot right now but there's a whole lot of light at the end of the tunnel.

I think the light you see at the end of the tunnel is a train coming towards you, look out!

Thanks for all your replies in this thread. Very valuable pieces of information indeed.

Wato we have had these discussions before and I too firmly believe that we have set the foundations down for a strong future. It may take about 3 years but as the players hit peak maturity - most at the same time as they are similar ages - then we will be a force.
I do have an issue with these small mids though. I have no doubts that bennedy, JT and Adams will be guns regardless of stature (dion prestia is having a good go) and add in karny, broomhead (Steele, beams, pendles) there will be a lot of grunt in the engine room.
Freeman and scharenberg are unknown but I doubt they won't come good. Langdon, scharenberg, Marley, Nathan brown, Keefe and frost (seedsman and Sinclair) will form a strong partnership for years to come. Seedsman is also quite tall and will be a great wingman.
Elliot should stick to playing forward alongside the talls and fas and that's the team. Future does look bright indeed
