Scott set to extend AFL contract

Chris Scott is set to add another two years to his stay as Geelong coach.

In his fourth season at the Cats since winning the 2011 premiership in his maiden year, Scott revealed on Tuesday morning he expected to sign on soon.

"I'm really committed to Geelong long-term, and every indication I get from the powers that be here is that the feeling's mutual," he said.

"I was never really too worried about the specifics of (the contract)... but I think the club is happy and I'm certainly very happy with the situation and hope I'm here for a very long time.
