So whos going to take responsibility when meow loses a final because Wilbur is out and he has to play an OOP because you negged his attempt at ruck cover?

wont matter was a threat until he traded away his best player for a average premo mid.

... an average premo mid...

didn't know what to call him, he is a premo but isn't anything special.

kind of how I rate Boak, he is a solid 105 which is good but by premium mid standards its very average.

barely premo
average premo
premo
super premo
captain lock premo
Ablett mode premo

Gibbs - Avergae Premo
Rocky - last year was Captain Lock premo verging on ABlett Mode premo. think he will be Super Premo verging on Captina lock premo

Rockliff

wants his own player to get injured, clearly tanking.

also if trades get rejected this week they fail for good right?

If Rockliff gets injured it just proves my point about Gibbs being more reliable.

It's all well and good if Rocky averages 130 in the games that he plays, but if I am playing Scully (80) for 4 weeks then the average of that position would be 120.9 and it's not like I'll be able to play Scully as captain either. Sandi/Gibbs gives me 2 captain options.

If you need a captain option why trade rocky though.

He goes 120 that's 30 points per game you make up Sandi Gibbs. You could play Scully captain (Im sure you have better players) but even than if he plays more than 50% games you lose.

Sandi will score more than 30ppg more than Gilbert though and he gives me better ruck depth!!! It's like talking to a brick wall.

So whos going to take responsibility when meow loses a final because Wilbur is out and he has to play an OOP because you negged his attempt at ruck cover?
Why are you assuming he negged it

I said 'who' not 'are you' didnt I?
"because you negged his attempt at ruck cover", clearly directed at Nige/ML

Well no, who initially refers to everyone who negged and then the 'you' is directed at those who negged. I know how i intended my sentence.

And its not meows fault as he has done what he can to bring in good cover
So are you saying that every coach who thought IN THEIR OPINION that it was an unfair trade, should take responsibility for meow not having ruck cover after he traded out basically all of it? Or am I just not understanding you at all. Because you haven't been very clear thus far.

meow has traded Lowden, Downie, Daw, HMac, Hannath. I think it's fair to say that the other coaches take 0% responsibility if he ends up with no ruck cover and cops a donut in a final and subsequently loses because of it, but that's just me.
I sure Seoul approved all those ruck trades too rather than looking out for Christchurch's ruck department.

Well he obviously had a plan trading out all those guys, of which only one gets consistent games. His plan was to bring in an actual good ruck backup and people just see the name Rockliff and go oh no he is goat you cant trade him for a 105 avg mid and one of the best rucks in the game. Nothing to do with the fact that he now needs to compete with 2 extra 105+ avg mids and 3 extra 90 avg mids.

Holz

I guess all we can do is somehow this trade will pass even though it hasn't been ammeded. than midway through next year when people go through the poor trades from this period Ill just post this message.

more than happy for people to say I was wrong.

it has happened a few times in my life, who knows lightning could strike again ;)

Rockliff scored 132 in the games that he played (18), and 0 in the games that he didn't (obviously). That's an average of 108 per game.

Gibbs played every game (has for 6 out of his 8 seasons, and in one he only missed 1 match) at an average of 106.3

Rocky is a better captain option when he is there but Sandilands over Gilbert more than makes up for that.

I included the part about Gibbs not missing any games in my original reasoning but people just ignore it and see the 132. It's either 108, or 120.9 (depending on my depth which actually has nothing to do with this trade).

meow meow

Rockliff has played every game of the season once, so if you're going to bring that up you also have to mention that he averaged 97.1 that year.

Now you can see why it's not a bad trade at all.

Just renegotiate the deal,  It's really not that hard.  ::)

CHECK flowerING MATE

barely check mate.

he played 18/22 last year.

Rocky + Scully 132 * 18 + 4 * 80 = 122.55
Gibbs 106*22 = 106

lets add in captaincy and drop Rocky to 120

Rocky + Scully + 90 captain    240*18 + 110*4 + 80*4 = 230.9
Gibbs 212*22 = 212
