If Sandilands was going to be traded for a pick, what range would the pick have to be within?

Vin got pick 15 + extras for Swan, a (former and maybe again) premo with 2 years left. Sandi would be in the same 15-20 range, right?

I'd personally value Swan higher than Sandi, due to Swan not having the injury history Sandi has, and that Sandi could easily retire at the end of 2015 (Even though he says for now he wants to play 2016)

I'd say a 2nd round pick would be fair for Sandi, something in the mid 20's

that's where I would put him too. Swan is 2 years younger and as you said doesn't have that ongoing injury history that Sandi has.

Swan is also chance of DPP which needs to be factored in. Swanhad the possibility that he could be  a 105+ 30 year old forward but more likely a 100+ 30 year mid.

so yeah around 25 is what I think he is worth.
Yes Swanny slightly ahead.

But remember they got more than pick 15, they got a couple of ok depth players too.

We'll save the debating for later.

Currently we're 2/16 and Sandi is worth pick 25ish

Sandi worth pick 10, Swan worth pick 10

At best Sandi will play 30 more games and that's IF he plays two more seasons.  32yo injury prone Ruckman, he's the heaviest player in the comp.
  Knees and ankles fail..

Rockliff is elite, Gibbs is not.  The trade is not even.  Add a 2nd rd pick and it will probably be enough to pass it.

It's not a very good trade for Christchurch, and makes little sense to do.    ....That's my two cents.  ;)

Lets go Bob Murphy + Boak for Rocky + Gilbert in the next trade period if NDS get DPP

So should I read any of this or can I just ignore it and stick to my previous vote?

Not sure if this is actually swaying anyone or if this is just arguing for the fun of it.

Honestly the trade is the exact same, I'm not changing my vote based on others thoughts. Your call if you wanna do that, but ain't no one gonna tell me what my opinion should be.

Pretty sure people just like to dog and moan when their trades don't go through.

Pretty sure this is good debate, not doging and moaning.

And yes all of it should be read to help give your opinion some information into the trade.

Not going to lie, I'm just arguing for the fun of it.

What's your opinion though?

So you guys assuming I haven't already looked into this stuff before I voted on the trade the first time? The opinions aren't gonna convince me and I've already taken stats into account.

Just makes me feel like people think some coaches flip a coin to make these decisions.

Don't worry about my opinion. I'm not someone you need to sway.  ;)

It might be, still doesn't change what I said.
