jbs will have to confirm but

for us Whitfield suits the age of most of our team better then Ebert

Danger, Greene, Ellis, Swallow, Kelly, Cannon, Matera, Boyd, Ceglar, Lloyd, Salem etc

throw Whitfield in and the future is looking pretty good for us

and i think Whitfield could average pretty close to Ebert next year

After some thinking I've decided to put forward my own reasons for the trade.

Curren for Templeton.
Preee straight fwd for us, long term we feel that TC will be a better fantasy prospect than ET. Nothing more really to it haha

I'll reiterate by saying that was all my idea and nobody told me to do anything :P

If Hrovat plays in the guts he has the same scoring potential as Whitfield. If he doesn't play there he will score less than LW but get forward status, which is what I am hoping is the case.

Pick 22 for last years pick 15 who is unproven at AFL level isn't far off the mark. I think this years draft crop is better.

Pick 36 for a 28 year old defender who can score well but has missed 29 games in 2 seasons is a risk I am willing to take. If he can get his body right he will be a decent D4 for a couple of seasons. Gilbert might be a flop, but so might pick 36.
