I bet Walters doesn't average more than 90 next year. IF he does, it will be from 15 games or less.

Agreed, that's why I traded him.

I think he will go 85+ from 20+ games. That's why I traded him in.

And an 85+ forward is more valuable than a 95 mid.

And a 91+ forward is more valuable than a 95 mid. But that's not what NY was saying in the trade negotiations! You even said it just a few posts ago.

For a 95 average forward we would maybe move bennell. need something else as a sweetener as well

So you say that an 85+ fwd is worth more than a 95 mid, but you want a 90+ forward AND a sweetener for your 95 mid. Interesting logic.

Just turned 20, former #1 pick with 2 seasons development into him, Lachie Whitfield is also available to be traded. It took Lachie just 2 matches to score his first SC 100, with a high of 141 in his first season. How many players do that?!

Jason Tutt, in his first match (147 in fact)!

I demand equal price that Whitfield will attract  :P haha

Not bad P77, not bad at all.

Except it was Tutt's 2nd year on our list! Any other team and you may have gotten away with it.

Sorry for the wait guys

Trade 63
Cape Town give: Cameron Guthrie + NAT #9 + NAT #34
Pacific give: Billy Longer + Cameron McCarthy + NAT #59

Votes Against: 2

Coach comments: Believe Pacific winning by too much

Admin comments: Really comes down to how much you rate Longer and Pick 9.... no real issue from me

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 64
Dublin Trade: Dayne Zorko + Travis Boak + N12 + N21
Christchurch Trade: Rory Sloane + Jarryd Roughead

Votes Against: 6

Coach comments: Most feedback believe Dublin giving too much, but a couple feel that it makes Dublin's best XV too strong

Admin comments: This trade causes a fair amount of unease from coaches it was clear, I'm not hugely keen to over rule the coaches myself, so will let it fail. I do admit it makes it hard for this trade to be adjusted.

Final verdict: REJECTED

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: Reckon Impey will improve a fair bit!

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 66
Cairo give: Sam Mitchell and Pick 33
Christchurch give: Nick Smith and Travis Colyer

Votes Against: 5

Coach comments: Feel that Nick Smith's scoring potential is limited, despite Mitchell's age

Admin comments: Risky business this one, but again not enough to overrule the coaches

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 67
NDT give: N6 + Sheridan
PNL give: N5 + JGrant

Votes Against: 1

Coach comments:  Believe New Delhi giving too much

Admin comments: Interesting one this one, but no issue

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 68

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: Can't quite believe Purple got rid of a new Melbourne recruit

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 70
New York give: Aaron Black and Pick 41
Beijing give: Matt Rosa

Votes Against: 2

Coach comments: Believe Black is worth more than Rosa, let alone a pick

Nick Smith was recruited so we're not having to pick from guys like Chaplin, Laidler etc.

Hang on a second, I was under the impreession that we were supposed to vote on the fairness of trades. Feeling Dublin's XV is getting too strong has nothing to do with the fairness of the trade.

Good to see some coaches rejected it for the right reason in that I overpaid.

If people are allowed to vote in that regards, can I start negging trades because people are going too young and that's bad for the comp? Or does it only work one way?

ossie85

Competitiveness of struggling team and fairness for the competition are legitimate reasons to block a trade.

RaisyDaisy

I agree with you holz

We rejected it, and we even said only just, because we think you gave up too much. Keep Pick 12, and just give 21 and I am fine with it

Also, Meow, in regards to you quoting AK, just let it go, we are keeping Bennell and WHE :)

Fair enough, I see why Dublin has by far the most trade rejects now.

This is just an idea but I think a system where you have 3 options in voting may work. So team A wins , team B wins, even

Because let's say 4 voted Christchurch Wins 14 votes even trade and 2 votes Dublin wins.  That really to me should balance out to +2 on the Christchurch win.

Taking it to the extreme if 9 reject because team A wins and 9 reject because team B wins I would Like to see it pass as coaches clearly can't decide and it sounds like an even trade.

I have to overpay for a chance for one of my trades to go through though. I'm not allowed to trade the picks for players like others can so to me picks are worth less unless I use them .I do fair trades and they got shot down, so this time I overpaid abit too much, that the unbiased coaches quite rightly rejected it. The new trade hopefully is the right balance of slightly overpaying.

Ricochet

At what point will Holz(or whoever the best team is) be alllowed to improve their starting XVs? Eventually Holz will run out of trade ammo and severely deplete his depth, which will only hurt him next year.

Like does he have to wait until other teams are better than him before he can trade to improve his best XVs?

Jroo

TBH, I thought that was an even trade.
Sloane and Roughy are way better than Boak and Zorko, so the picks even it up.
