Top forwards in SC last year:

1. Stefan Martin - not a forward
2. Robbie Gray
3. Luke Parker - not a forward
4. Brent Harvey - OLD
5. Patrick Dangerfield - not a forward
6. Buddy Franklin
7. Ben McGlynn - not a forward
8. Dustin Martin
9. Dayne Zorko
10. Paul Chapman - OLD
11. Cyril Rioli - injury prone
12. Nick Riewoldt - OLD
13. Luke Dahlhaus
14. Jarrad Waite - OLD
15. Devon Smith

21 years old. 59 games. 94 DT/ 91.2 SC average.

To me, it appears that Devon is the 5th most valuable forward when you take age, scoring ability/potential, and durablity into account. He can be moved on. Serious offers only please.

Just turned 20, former #1 pick with 2 seasons development into him, Lachie Whitfield is also available to be traded. It took Lachie just 2 matches to score his first SC 100, with a high of 141 in his first season. How many players do that?!

Roughy?

Bennell should get forward too and out averaged Smith. K Jack might as well as well as Mitch Duncan. But, yes he is very valuable

If anyone wants to make an offer for Giles, get it in now. Will be gone by tonight.  ;)

AaronKirk

we have Bennell and Duncan  :) both could well have DPP next year.

For a 95 average forward we would maybe move bennell. need something else as a sweetener as well

long term Bennell will only be a mid, so looking for a player under 26 who averages 90+ as a forward as a starting point.

Good luck with this then because based on the above list and a list of those forwards who averaged 90+ last season then your options that fit this criteria are Dustin Martin, Dayne Zorko, Devon Smith, Jack Gunston and maybe Zaharakis if he gets forward eligibility.

The only other one under 26 is Duncan and you already have him.

Don't have that but can offer a can of Coke Zero and a packet of chips. If that's not enough, I think I've got some chocolates from Easter.  8)

If you're taking into account age and scoring ability, I'd rate a few players ahead of Smith that weren't listed i.e. Boyd, Daniher, Hogan, etc.

All potential and hype at this point. Smith already averaged 91.2 You might have to wait 4 years for the power forwards to deliver an average like Dev's. 4 premo years is an eternity in XV's.

Think of Devon Smith as being Cyril Rioli without the injuries and that's the kind of value he has. Don't make me have to get ///////////////////////// to explain it to you.

Haha, tbh I'd love to hear slasher go on about Devon. May increase his trade value  ;) :P

There's only Dusty (23), Zorko (25), Rioli (25), Dahlhaus (22), Gunston (22) and Smith (21) who fit that criteria.

How many mids under 26 that average 95+ are there? A lot more than 6 I reckon.

Bennell could be a forward as well.  we had an offer for a forward who will average 90+ next year in walters and a pick but it got knocked back.

I bet Walters doesn't average more than 90 next year. IF he does, it will be from 15 games or less.

Dev doesn't miss games. He's 174 cms of toughness.

I think he will go 85+ from 20+ games. That's why I traded him in.

And an 85+ forward is more valuable than a 95 mid.
