I can't believe the Rocky trade failed.
Oh well, I'm not upset I didn't gain much from it, at all.

Just the most valuable player in the competition ;)

He will get dpp next year I'm pretty confident. He won't keep it past a year though and that's why it is a fair trade. Walters has shown he is a 90 average forward and when bennell loses dpp he needs to turn into a 105-110 mid at least for it to be fair. I just don't understandhow a 30 year old 88 back and a 27 79 average forward buys the better version of bennell (trealor). Yet a 90 average forward can't get bennell.

I wouldn't think to trade Walters for jjk + duffield and I'm going for a flag. Would give bennel up in a second for trealor.

We are well and truly aware that giving up Treloar was huge, and he will be light years ahead of what we got, BUT we lacked defenders and forwards, and having to play players OOP, or rookie spuds, was costing us even more than what we lose by giving up Treloar, so as crazy as it appears on the surface, that trade was extremely beneficial for our teams balance and overall scoring

Os, I am assuming you have simply rejected this because we don't have 39 now?

Only 2 coaches neg'd it, so clearly the majority agree with us in that Rosa and Black are not evenish - Rosa is better, with a better SC average, which is why we added the pick

We have Pick 41, so I will just resub the trade using 41 instead of 39

In terms of the Walters/Bennell deal, it's disappointing to see it get knocked back. I think its a more than fair deal too, echoing AK's previous comments, especially how a 90 avg forward is prob more important than a 100 avg mid

I hope Bennell does get DPP, otherwise as AK said you have to put up a 90 avg forward for him, or he stays at New York

Port are going to be a very strong side for next few years and we think Carlton will go backwards before they go forwards Gibbs had a good year this year who knows if he will back it up and he will probably get more attention

as you assumed we felt we were getting a bonus pick for not really losing much from our best xv and with Ceglar + Big Boy we don't really need McBeany
