Nope

I do the right thing, get people to vote on just about every rule, give up my own team and put in a lot of effort to keep the comp running smoothly

All I get is people whinging about decisions VOTED on, people pestering me via pm and people not giving damn. People thinking only about there own team and not the greater comp

so do what the hell you want

I disagree with my co-coach in relation to the Dublin deal- even though I agree it should have been negged

I thought Dublin was the clear winner in the deal, getting 2 very good scoring players for 2 decent picks and a bunch of spuds.

2 Players who in any other team would be in the best XV but likely to be solid cover at Dublin makes them incredibly strong without strengthening the Dildos side- yes they get 2 picks but a bunch of low scoring players which does not help them in the long-term at all.

If Dublin replaced 2/3 low scoring players to have another higher scoring player in the deal who could be in the best XV at Dildos then I would vote to pass the deal.

Note: Oss does an unbelievable job with the XV's and this comp wouldn't be running without him.

Dublin will only be great for a few years.
Not if I know Holz.  :P

Been saying this for God knows how long but it seems I'm apparently wrong.

Guys how about you just quit it. Oz does a tremendous job, give him a break as he is the one that puts his time into this comp, if he makes a decision then just stick by it and stop whinging.

If a trade gets rejected, re-negotiate it. Or find a new deal. Whinging is not the way to go about it, so just give it a rest already

I would like to apologies for all the drama today, my intentions for this deal was to help out Nails as they were trying to offload players. Its unfortunate that this has turned into a big thing as its a great comp and Ossie does an amazing job.

I do want what's best for the comp and if people want to be more competitive and the top teams less dominant im offering up my some of my older premiums that are still in prime and have plenty of years left.

I believe in picks and Im not just giving them away for the sake of it, first round picks even as late as 21 have value to me and if you dont think the draft is very good im more than happy to take the picks.

the following players are for sale:

Nick Dal Santo: I believe he will get DPP, im soo confident i traded away murphy. He is 30 turning 31 however he has plenty of years left shown by his amazing finals performances. Should be a 105 backman and will skyrokcet anyones defense.

Jobe Watson: Has been unlucky with Injury but at his best he is a captain in alomst anyteam. Very capable of going 115-120 and at worst you would think 110. For teams struggling for big scorers here is your chance to get a captain to compete with the big clubs. Like NDS 29 turning 30 and his game doesnt rely on his athletecism, as absolute star player and i expect many more years from him.

Daniel Wells: Again 29 turning 30,  has been injured this year but before that 3 seasons of 96+ scoring. Not the star that Watson is but vitally important to North and will be up for our premiership push. Very very handy for any team wanting some point injection.

David Mundy: Turned 29 not long ago and has been one of the most solid players in the comp. Unsubbed went 105 and i expect pretty much the same thing. Keeps pumping 90 -110 basically every single week a very solid option that has years left.

If teams down the bottom are serious about wanting to compete these premiums have years left of good scoring and I would happily keep them.  If people want to compete and weaken Dublin at the same time here is your opportunity.

Given the talk about the value of Swan and Chappy I do expect decent offers though as these players are vitally important to my team.

im around all the time to send me a PM, I would prefer to deal with the weaker teams as this is their opportunity to compete if they want to take it.

Just want to apologize Oss I certainly wasn't having a go at you. You do an amazing job and I mean it when I say nobody else could do what you do. And I think at times we all take for granted what you do.

Don't really wanna reignite discussions but the weaker teams don't necessarily want to compete, I just think they don't want to languish.

I guess it kind of goes back to what I was saying about them not really wanting older guys.

Like, best guess is somebody like Beijing would rather have somebody like Sloane from Sao Paulo than Watson from Dublin.  :-X

im giving teams the option to chose to compete as it sounds like they want to. Guys like Watson have 3-4 years left its not like im offering up Chappy Murphy etc..

these are the type of players that young competing teams need. If they plan on just unproven young players they will never get anywhere. Even with a young team if you dont think Watson is helpfull your basically saying your going to be useless for 4 years.

the top teams have all come in for offers soo far but waiting on clubs wanting to compete to put in offers. To bridge the gab this is what they need to do, If not will keep relying on handouts and speculative picks.
