3/7 of your trades haven't passed. You just admitted that trade you overpaid.

What world are you living in Holz?

I thought the point of trade voting was to help make sure teams don't get too one sided. If dillos don't trade their old guys the will collapse and probably need saving. Teams are shafting them knowing that.

If a strong team is openly trying to help them out. Than I get told I can't do that and should offer a weaker deal.

Than next season when Dublin is strong and dillos are weak people will be calling for equalization. I'm trying to stop that before it happens.

ossie85

Holzman you adding Swan and Chapman and basically losing no starting 15 players is bad for the competition imo

Vinny

Wait so people feel we are getting too much in the deal and rejected it but then Os you reckon Holz is giving too little and rejected it?

Torpedo10

I'm confused now, the coaches say Dublin are losing but Oss says they are winning?

Ok that's fair enough just confused as the voting was making it look like it was all down to me giving too much.

What can dillos do though as only a few top teams and they won't give up starters for them.

yep, no idea what those coaches are smoking

MajorLazer

Yeah Dublin definitely won that trade IMO. That's why I voted against it.

I smoke only the finest cubans thank you very much :P.

Given reckon #12 is worth Chappy due to age/scoring. So relies on the rest of the trade for the passing/negging.

Purple 77

Should feel I should point out, that New York asked for a starting defender and starting forward for treloar, a fairly long time before I offered that. Meaning no one else was willing to give them that.

Just sayin. But very relieved all 3 of my trades got through.

Exactly

Purple was the only person who could offer us a defender and forward capable of being starters

The deal when broke down is essentially JJK and Duffield, both starters who are capable of averaging 80-90 for Treloar, who is a mid capable of averaging 110+. 30 and 24 is a slight improvement for Purple as he gave up 2 starters for 1

Cant even believe so many people neg'd it. Just glad Ossies common sense prevailed here

You guys need to realise that Mids score more than the rest, and cant just straight up compare 110 avg vs 80 avg

Vinny

How is JJK an 80-90 forward?

Treloar is 21 years old. Duffield is 29.

Treloar is worth more than JJK and Duffield alone.

I think it wouldn't have been negged as much if the 24 wasn't there.

Agreed but it's the age difference.

If trealor was 27+ this deal would have been fair.

According to the above trade I should have done Walters + Hansen for trealor + 24.

How did the Treloar trade pass?

1 gun mid for 2 starting def/fwd shouldn't pass according to you, but giving Dublin 2 old farts for essentially 2 first round picks and 5 players should pass? LOL pls

Quote from: Master Q on September 28, 2014, 12:18:58 PM
If I had Treloar I wouldn't even write his name on our player list. I'd never trade him  :P

Sometimes you need to make a big call and trade someone you normally wouldn't for the betterment of the overall team and it's long term future. Only time will tell, but it's decisions like this that could be defining

You guys just think "WTF would trade Treloar" but don't take into consideration that if we didn't we would have to field crap defenders and rookie forwards or players OOP which would cost us much more points than the points lost from Treloar, especially when we already have enough mids guns capable of averaging 100+

Our trade got rejected because Dublin gave too little according to Os, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Old farts? You call them old farts when they score  premium numbers and JJK averages 79 and he is premium, yep alright.
