Or is this your sneaky way of ensuring one more yes vote to try and get it through? :P
That's probably it.

Still slightly baffled on the idea of trading arguably one's best player and the best player in the comp as well to the biggest premiership threat.  :o

as I said im more about building a quality list than going out to win the comp. If it helps Mexico so be it, I think it helps me too. Happy to go in a shoot out.

my team has alot more depth than last year now got guys like Wells Chappy Hansen Currie on the bench so like this year if mass outs hit I can take it.

Captain Joel Selwood has finally got his wish and Rocky has been ousted from Dublin.

Jroo

Rocky  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Holz

meh Rocky not even a premiership player.

Master Q

The trade hasn't even been voted on yet but ok.

woah.  madness that 3-way trade.

Interesting trade but I think Berlin are getting shafted here and a big win for Dublin despite losing Rockliff.

Berlin gets a a 4th round pick and Bob Murphy who has one season left at a 80-90 avg for a 20 year-old defender with a lot of potential and guy who has 2-3 seasons left and is a 90-100 avg player if fit and a draft pick.

Hmm...Premium defenders are hard to find though so who knows...

Also I personally think JROO is giving up a bit too much for Rocky but I don't really have an issue with that part of the deal.

Saunders is a midfielder who very occasionally will play up front but not enough to be F/M. definitely a mid only.

Murphy was the 19th best backman in the comp and lots of the guys above him will lose DPP. Even if Wells gets back to his 2013 form (unlikely as 2 years older) he will be the 56th best midfielder.

Saunders won't be getting dpp anywhere. I am fairly sure of that. I'm also aware of Bob having one more year, and also aware Wells and Saunders have little currency and really to get a premo defender, even for one year, I'm stoked.

I can't remember, do we have a trade period after DPP changes are announced?

roo boys!

Yeah but from memory isn't that the period where only one for one, two for two etc trades can be done? And it has to be associated with the DPP moves in some way or another.

Yeah, I thought it was something along those lines. Cheers.
