And their are also coaches who have a team of only 18/19 year olds. They may be super one day, but give other teams easy points now.

The reason the competition is going to be uneven is because of people that don't get active in trade period and just sit on their teams. Cannot blame people that wanna make their team stronger and go out and get trades done.

its also because deals that are fair look uneven in a few years because one coach either got lucky or picked the potential.

Like my pick 5 for Gray deal. Looks a joke now but it could easily have gone the other way. (Sorry Rb for brining this up again)

pick 2 for gray?

You can say you profited from the trade.

Love how basically all of the Dillos old players have just been traded to the other big 3. Can see a big gap emerging between those 3 and the chasers...
Noticed that as well, pretty sure the comp will be a bit uneven up the top for a while to come, unless more freak upsets occur :P.
This comp will never be even as long as we have people intent on creating the ultimate team...  :-X
?? Isn't that the point

yeah I was under the impression thats what the aim of this was. Sydney had a pretty amazing team than thought hey lets add buddy to make us even better.
Eh, that's the point for some.

Others (probably a ridiculously small minority, might even be alone) like to create a team that's generally competitive and are in it for the fun and community. I'm no glory hunter.

I rather see mostly equal comp rather than a couple of teams struggling and others posting outrageous scores (as seen in Worlds with NDT/Beijing vs Mexico/Pumas/Dublin and Euros with Serbia vs Dinos).

You play to win.

Why would you play to be generally competitive? :P

Doesn't help when a few coaches just do nothing with their team and then expect to be competitive next season.

Eh, I've moved on...only just though.

New York, Beijing and others looking for a forward I may have a couple to offer up, if I assume Ryder and Ziebell will get DPP that pushes 2 starting forwards out. Looking for a good mid or < 27 year old defender. Players like Leigh Adams, Mitch Robinson, MAYBE Jack Riewoldt can be packaged with picks to get stars.
