Anyone with an eztremely spuddy spud with lots of points want to trade for a less spudier spud with not so many points??
Purely for cap reasons
We have R.Crowley, but he's Alexandria's spiritual leader and won't be leaving.  :P
Haha I'm talking like ZDawson/LRT level. Crowley is a flowering gun

Can we trade guys on our list that have retired?

SPRING CLEANOUT

I'm sure that there is next to no interest in these players at all, but we are pushing the cap so if anyone wants any of these guys just shoot me a PM. Happy to package multiple players for picks/1 player etc

Ben Sinclair, Aidan Corr, Jake Batchelor, Mitch W Brown, Will Schofield, Aaron Young, Matthew Arnott, Pat McGinnity, Craig Moller, Shaun McKernan, Todd Elton, Brant Colledge, Aryn Sipposs

We also have these guys who we are happy to keep, but could trade for the right offer

Jamie Bennell, Michael Firrito, Heath Grundy, Michael Apeness

We do have better players that we are willing to trade as well, but until our current trades get confirmed we are holding talks on them, so for the meantime, if any of the above interest you, let me know.

Didnt expect to get so much enquiries for these guys! It really has been a true Spring Clean Out

The following guys lined through are more or less gone!

Ben Sinclair, Aidan Corr, Jake Batchelor, Mitch W Brown, Will Schofield, Aaron Young, Matthew Arnott, Pat McGinnity, Craig Moller, Shaun McKernan, Todd Elton, Brant Colledge, Aryn Sipposs

Might struggle to get those trades approved!

Some of those Spring Clean Out players are hidden gems IMO

Terribly sorry guys, I didnt mean to put Menzel on the list

Had 3 or 4 teams ask about him - sorry for the mistake, we are keeping him :)

Gotta say that considering teams like New York and Pacific are needing to get rid of players to get below the cap shows that it's far too low. Should have remained at the 31,500 rather than dropping to 30,000.

That would be handy, but we are only a few hundred over 30k so its not too bad

Just trying to free up some space for now, and take picks to the draft

And to explain further just why it is too low I will use maths ;)

Each week there are 9 matches played where 3,300 points are allocated. This totals to 29,700 points each week. Our points cap is set for the 17 home and away games of the season, so for those 17 rounds there are 504,900 points given out.

So 504,900 points is what we have to share between the 18 teams in the league, which averages out to be 28,050 per team. The fact that the max you can be above the average is just less than 2,000 points more is quite ridiculous really, whereas the minimum you can be below is 6,000 points. This doesn't really add up...

Might as well just make it that max is 30,000 and min is 26,000 if you want to even it up so much.

Last years was much better as it was almost an even split above and below the average: 24,000 to 31,500, so 4k below and 3.5k above. Why did people vote to change this??

The other side of that coin is that it was far too easy for the big sides to go under it. But point taken

The one thing missing from your analysis is the amount of points from this year, that aren't available next year (all the retired players, delisted players, etc.).

For instance Luke Ball (963), Ben Rutten (553), Jonathan Brown (643), Nick Maxwell (597), Jason Winderlich (776), Dom Cassisi (733), Daniel Jackson (871), Lenny Hayes (1586), Dean Cox (1121), Dianiel Giansiracusa (528) are the bigger names that have retired. With promises of more to come and delisting. But just those are 8371 points, or 465 points per team.

Most of these guys are going for 3rd rounders, so a good amount of picks in the 40's which will be handy

Reckon we could jag a diamond in the rough there
