Roo boys only one left to vote, and he will still need to, but his opinion won't change anything

Trade 28
Dublin give: Brodie Martin + Matthew Taberner
Pacific give: Matthew Scharenberg.

Votes against: 3

Coach comments: 2 coaches think that two average players don't warrant a future star, while 1 coach thinks the opposite that a gameless player doesn't warrant 2 decent players.

Admin comments: Interesting trade, but ultimately should help both teams.

Final result: PASSED

Trade 29
Mexico City give: Yarran, Vince, Pick 36 + Pick 37
Wellington give: Deledio + Pick 61

Votes against: 3

Coach comments: Like Trade 28, 2 coaches think that Wellington are giving up too much, and 1 coach things that Mexico City are giving up too much.

Admin comments: Deledio went for pick 1 last trade period basically, but Yarran and Vince and 2 pick upgrades make this fair IMO

Final result:  PASSED

Trade 30
Moscow trade: Callum Sinclair and SECOND Round Pick (35)
London trade: Guess who? Joe Daniher

Votes against: 4

Coach comments: Still believe that Daniher is worth too much

Admin comments: I also believe that this trade still favours Moscow, but will let it through.

Final result: PASSED

Trade 31
Dublin trade: Simon Prestigiacomo
Pacific trade: Leigh Matthews
Fake trade to see who is paying attention, please reject this one

Votes against: 17

Coach comments: Mixed bunch of comments, with many commentating on including Relton Roberts in the mix, that Presti's age makes him more favourtable than Lethal

Admin comments: I'd have let it through, but what can you do?

Final result: REJECTED

Trade 32
Beijing give: Rory Lobb + Pick #77 ID
Cairo give: Chris Dawes + Phil Davis

Votes against: 4

Coach comments: True to form, we had 3 coaches saying that Dawes and Davis far outvalued a player that has yet to prove himself, and 1 coach saying that Lobb's potential is worth more than 2 averaging players.

Admin comments: Given Lobb has far more value to Cairo than anyone else (a Giant Ruck Division), and the Thunder need depth across the board (while acknowledging the two players aren't likely to ever by high SC scorers), I think this if fair.

Final result: PASSED

Trade 33
Beunos Aires give: Steve Johnson
New York give: Pick 8 and Shaun Atley

Votes against: 0

Coach comments: Nil

Admin comments: No controversy here surprisingly

Final result: PASSED

Trade 34
Moscow trade: Heath Shaw & Pick 53
New York trade: David Armitage & Luke McDonald

Votes against: 7

Coach comments: Believe pick 53 doesn't come close to evening trade out.

Admin comments: This is controversial, and I'm confused, because this trade was rejected by 5 coaches last week but 7 this week despite the addition of extra pick to even things out. Still, I can't over rule the coaches because I also have doubts that Heath Shaw (a premium, but is pushing 30) and a low pick beats a a 26 year old mid you averaged 108 across his last 8 matches and a future star of the comp in McDonald. Had it gone below 6 votes, I may have let it through.

Final result: REJECTED

I realise this will upset both coaches at New York and Moscow, but I encourage some discussion over going forward.

Trade 35
Mexico City give: Pick 61
Cape Town give: Ryan O'Keefe

Votes against: 0

Coach comments: Nil

Admin comments: Could be a steal of a lifetime, could be a mammoth flop.

Final result:  PASSED

Trade 36
PNL Gives: #49
Pacific Gives: K. Hardingham + #81

Votes against: 0

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: 0

Final result: PASSED

Trade 37
Cape Town gives: Zac Smith + Ben Reid + Nat 16
Tokyo give: Scott Selwood + Nat 9 + Nat 41.

Votes against: 2

Coach comments: Believe Tokyo are giving up too much

Admin comments: Think Cape Town win the deal, but if Smith starts playing full seasons, could work out in its favour

Final result: PASSED

Very relieved that we now have Lobb with the news that Giles wants out (which I expected). Definitely keeping Giles because I expect him to play wherever he ends up and may even get DPP.  8)

We will get there with the Shaw deal hopefully

It is absolutely imperative that we get the deal done so we will keep working on it.

We have a top class midfield but lack in defense.

Suggestions on how we would go about getting a deal which we would be able to pass?

cant believe that Lobb trade got through

WELCOME SCOTT SELWOOD!!!

Why don't you jackasses tell us what you think the trade should be

Go on don't be faceless cowards say exactly what you want to be traded why don't you

Seriously you neggers are huge cows and should be ashamed, poor form

I bet if this trade was the other way around you'd only be too happy to approve it, damn ABMs

I don't have a vote but imo Shaw for McDonald is a fair trade given McDonald's potential/what he's showed this season and their age differences. McDonald a 10 season premo def, Shaw a current premo def.

So to even it up I'd put something fair for Armitage on the other side. Nat 53 is not fair for him at all.

It's not a matter of him being worth both exactly and I don't see how the trade is bad enough not to go through. The state of the Beijing list means Dawes and Davis are arguably starters for them and definitely help with numbers (list and cap). For us, Lobb is a very important acquisition as we have Mummy who never plays a full season and the idea was that if he did miss in 2015 that one of Giles/Lobb would come in for him (but now Giles is on the move and Lobb should be the guy to replace him if he misses).

The trade helps both sides, which I think is a win-win and a reason to see it pass.

Following the arrival of Scott Selwood and the impending departure of Dale Thomas the Cape Town Cobras are now interested in picking up a few depth players as well as another potential best XV forward.

If you have these guys on the table then come talk to me or Chumps.

Jukes watch language please. And reckon if you guys added a pick in the 20s would have passed. Shaw is good yes but McDonald was a high draft pick and has shown potential in his first season. I reckon the Daniher one still favoured you guys but passed because the second rounder did enough. A pick in the 50s here was too low that it didn't really even out the trade enough. Just my take on it.

And the Lobb one was uneven but when you actually look at the Thunder, both the guys traded in are possible starters for them :x. Also former PNL players as well....

I'm going on trading-strike until a trade with NY is passed btw guys, so don't bother trying.

Jukes/KRAMER: You know you're infringing on my right to trade good.
Neggers/MANAGER: That's not a right.
Jukes/KRAMER: Well, it's going to be! Because I'm going back on strike! Come on Elaine. (Takes off his team polo, and goes for his coat) It's a walk out!

The system was brought in to kill tanking or extreme trade rape, not to iron out every single piece of lopsidedness so that we can have an "equal" league. Why don't we give points for losing next season? That'd sure make the league more even.
