89 unsubbed, 24 year old Chris Yarran is on the table.

Looking for an older defender with similar scoring output + a top 10 pick, or a fair swap of players in another 2-for-2 trade, again most likely involving a mid.

Premo defenders don't seem to exist, and a 24 year old premo defender is unheard of!
Lol good luck, when I traded him for Lids people thought he was a spud  ::) ::)

I'm happy for him to keep being a spud while putting up premo defender numbers.
No, I agree with you. He's a good scorer and he's still quite young.

what do you think we need to add to get the WHE deal done with london?

For the record we passed all the trades this time but I did make a comment on this one to Chumps/Ossie as I felt it was the most uneven of the lot and it was this:

Pass although I think London are giving up a bit much for WHE (Essentially picks 11 and 12 (Lennon from last year).

Although WHE was drafted at Pick 4 I don't think he's worth two first round picks in return.

I reckon a second round pick + Lennon would get the deal done.

Don't know why so many coaches negged it

WHE went pick 4, and is GWS best 22, where as Lennon went 12 and is not in their best 22

I thought the deal was fine and didn't neg it, but I think Lennon will be best 22 next year. If not at round one, he will be by the end of the year.

kilbluff1985

i'd be interested to know if it's the same coach that seems to be the 1 that negs a trade? of if it's just random if it's the one coach your a stooge

Nige

We neg'd it, basically for a combination of the reason Memph has given above and what JROO said.

While WHE is good, Beatle will be best 22 in 2015 plus has DPP and should be as good a scorer as WHE so London are giving up too much. A second or third round pick plus Beatle for WHE would probably do it, depending on the pick.

^This. WHE is at GWS so of course he's going to play more early. Lennon not that far off either and a high pick as well. A lower pick would probably get it through.

I am both surprised and delighted that only one person negged our deal and that the person who did thought the Darling side won :P

Darling is decent but Horlin-Smith has been touted as a future Geelong captain (and we all know how the current one goes) and shows signs he'll become a star in the coming seasons and break out this year.

To get Savage as well who averaged 90.1 since he forced his way back in to the Saints side and should be a defender next year for the addition of a couple of picks on our side is an absolute bargain in my opinion.

But, by the same token I bet NDT think they won this one as well :P

WHE has shown he can play. Lennon and Pick 11 have shown nothing. Fair trade every day of the week

And he's a pick 4. Surely his value has gone up a little?
Even if it hasn't, pick 11 + 12  for pick 4 would be probably be fair, wouldn't it?

This is what I think too

Lennon isn't in the Tiges best 22, and 11 could be anything

WHE is a guaranteed starter at GWS and will only get much better

Very surprised it got negged

Holy subjectivity Batman.

Toga

Didn't really think there was anything wrong with the trade either. Agree with the above that Lennon should assert himself in the Richmond 22 next year, so NYR might have won out in the end, but even so it's a big IF, so was even enough to pass.
