I think thats more a agreement to the two parties rather than a set rule. Happend a few times to me with the gibbs, jz deal and the bennell deal.

Fair enough fellas and I'm not really criticising you two of trying to snipe Griffen...all 17 teams should have equal opportunity to submit offers for someone on the trade table.

Just couldn't remember whether it was a set rule or just an unspoken sense of decency.
