Trade 74
Christchurch trade: Jay Kennedy-Harris
Berlin trade: Clay Cameron

Votes against: 0

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: Purps just can't help himself

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 75
Christchurch trade: Jarryd Roughead, Rory Sloane, picks 37 and 43
Dublin trade: Dayne Zorko, Travis Boak, picks 12 and 21

Votes against: 4

Coach comments: 1 believes Christchuch winning by too much, others believe Dublin winning by too much, and some believing it will hurt the competition.

Admin comments: While I'm willing to call this trade fair for both parties, I really believe that this hurts the competition. Unfortunately, I seem to be in the minority, and honestly, don't want to deal with the private messages and 4 pages of complaining if it is rejected. So unwilling to overturn the decisions of the coaches.

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 76
New York trade: Pick 30
Christchurch trade: Luke Lowden

Votes against: 1

Coach comments: Think pick 30 is too high a price

Admin comments: Rucks are at a premium, no real issue here

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 77
Cairo trade: Pick 85
Christchurch trade: Tom Downie

Trade 79
Mexico City give: Mark Baguley, Matt Shaw + Pick 40

Admin comments: Seems fine

Final verdict:

Trade 80
Mexico City Suns gives NAT 86
Magpies give Kamdyn McIntosh

Votes against: 0

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: 0

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 81
Christchurch trade: Taylor Adams (sorry NDT), Dale Morris and pick 7
Dildos trade: Matthew Boyd, picks 8 and 26

Votes against: 3

Coach comments: Feel Boyd and 26 isn't enough for Adams, and that Morris' worth is limited

Admin comments: Risky trade that seems to benefit both teams. Boyd only a couple of years left if that, but Adams is no guarantee to be a superstar.

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 82
Pacific trade: Jamie Elliot + NAT #27
Christchurch trade: Devon Smith

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: Surprised this didn't get any votes! I have a huge Devon crush.

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 83
Seoul give: Mark Lecras
London give: Brandon Matera + N29

Coach comments: Believe Matera isn't anywhere near LeCras

Admin comments: Seems fine

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 84
Beijing give: NAT 41 + Jason Ashby
Seoul give: Maverick Weller + NAT 82

Votes against: 0

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: Hmmm...

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 85
Pacific give: Lindsay Thomas
Mexico City give: Jed Lamb

Votes against: 1

Coach comments: Feel that Mexico City needs to add something to even out the trade

Admin comments: Agree with that coach comment

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 86
NDT give: Toby Greene
Seoul give: Stephen Coniglio + N29

Votes against: 0

Coach comments: 0

Admin comments: I think Coniglio will eventually surpass bad boy Greene....

Final verdict: PASSED

Trade 87
Moscow Give: Ryan Griffen
Toronto Give: Levi Greenwood + Nat Pick 14 + Nat Pick 32

Votes against: 8

Coach comments: Feel that the difference between Griffen and Greenwood doesn't warrant the extra picks

Admin comments: Agree

Final verdict: REJECTED

Hellopplz

Trade 84 - KB has a man-crush on Ashby which is why they got him :P.

Seoul could be very dangerous in the near future with their young guns...

Wow, that is absolutely retarded. Greenwood averaged 94 in a career best season. Griff averaged 98 in his worst season for four years.

Hellopplz

It's true that Griffen had a down year but a top 15 and a nice 30ish pick as well to make up the difference when Griffen is aging and moves to a team with a midfield stacked with young guns? Greenwood also moving to a situation where midfield is full of youth but can be said can make a bigger impact there than Griff at GWS.

That and reckon both those picks were overkill :P. But then again depends how people rate the draft... Take out one of the picks and would get it through I reckon.

Get rid of 14 and chuck like a 4th or 5th rounder on Moscow's end. ;)

elephants

Well, 104 since round 7 :P

Justin Bieber

I rate Griffen over Green 'can't kick' wood and those picks. So that's quite funny.

Jukes

I won't say anything, but I'm sure if you ALL THINK ABOUT IT YOU KNOW WHAT I'M THINKING

I can't be banned for that, right?

Greenwood is a guy who averaged 94 in his best season. Picks are gambles on young players who may or may not work out, with high chance of minimal reward in the short-term. That's one side of the trade.

The other side is a guy who averaged ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THREE POINTS PER GAME excluding his red-vested game in 2013, then was derailed a bit by back injuries but finished the year with a 6-game average of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY, including a final round score of ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY NINE.

Oh, and there's also just a three year age difference.

Can I appeal the trade ruling?

Vinny

Just saying, I can see why they aren't happy. Griffen was just as good as Ablett for a large chunk of 2013. He still an elite player whereas Greenwood has had one good season which wasn't even elite. Griffen is elite.

But can also see why it was negged, take out the other pick, with just Pick 14 it isn't bad enough and looks fine I reckon.

AaronKirk

Griffen is a proven premium midfielder. Greenwood has not shown premium output for a midfielder. We passed the trade (and passed all trades this week)

The picks even the trade up IMO. dunno how it passes without Toronto giving up the picks.
