Lucky for me im into the Prelim in my main league so im throwing a few ideas around for trades etc.

2 Options

Callan Ward to Priddis or Sloan

or

Chappy to Mcglynn

Im leaning to Chappy to Mcglynn but itll leave me not much cash for Prelim week.

heres my team
Backs, Bartel, Hanley, Mitchell, Swallow, Simpson, Mcveigh
Mids, Rocky, Pendles, StevieJ, Beams, Cotchin, JPK, WARD, Barlow
Rucks, Martin, Jacobs
Forward, Parker, Boomer, Martin, Jack, CHAPPY, Duncan

Any advice appreciated thanks

I'd probably back Ward in this week (it is the Dees after all, shoudl be a tight tackle-filled game)
but those other options are better - Priddis is carrying WC, and Sloane is basically a banker for a ton at home (and vs a leaky Richmond too)

If I had to pick one of those options though, Chappy->McGlynn (but I personally like Ryder as a POD, but McGylnn has gone 'bang' most time of all forwards)

you're keeping SJ?! (last-3 vs Carlton average of 76, and doesn't like playing at Etihad either)

unless that's one of your trades? personally would do SJ->Priddis, and Chappy->McGlynn this week (not sure what you're bench is like, and you may have other issues)

Can I have a cheer pls? Haven't got one in ages.

wats ur bench cover like, the swans have a good run home so mcglynn wld be a good get, ward dose have the dees up next where he had 119 last time so mite be worth holding on to another week.

im in the same boat as you, i have forwards, of danger, parker, mcglynn, d.martin, b.martin, boomer
i am thinking of giving danger the chop scored in the 80's the past 3 and looked pretty sore in the weekend but with tigers, north and saints i mite regret doing it, wat u reckon

Don't have good bench cover but have someone playing everywhere besides rucks, def keeping Stevie J hes last 2 home and away games he has Hawthorn then Brisbane, he will go big against them.
Leaning to the Chappy Mcglynn trade, then I can do what needs to be done the following week,

Is it worth your while dropping 2 of D8/M10/R4/F8 to cheapest available to give max cash ready for Prelim Final?

The_Captain

Go Mglynn. i went a downgrade and then Motlop to Mcglynn.

chaosAD

Now Stevie J looks likely to miss im thinking of getting rid of him, if i hold and he doesnt come up for prelim weekend itll stuff me round.
What to do?????

pommyadam

As I posted earlier (and depending on price) I'd do SJ->Priddis and then Chappy->McGlynn (or Ryder/Dsmith if price issues)
Ward should do reasonably well this week (good form against Dees and at MCG), so maybe Ward->SJ next week

so over the last two weeks ive traded in priddis for goddard and last week sidebottom for stevie j

now i have two low averagers in enright and riewoldt that i could trade out for anyone

is it worth trading out nroo for mcglynn? (other fwds are danger, harvey, dusty, kjack and parker)

backs are ( ksimpson, bartel, dwallow, smithchell and mcveigh)

hanley looks to get mcaffer this week so is making me think the fwd line could use a boost? Anyone know nroos avgs against his next 3?

StevieJ has gotta go now. Would you take a massive punt and bring in Swan, then Chappy to McGlyn?

chaosAD

I do like the Swan and Mcglynn in trade, hmmmm would be ballsy to bring in the Pig but hes a dead set star!

Dave085

Not anymore mate. What are you going to do now?? Stevie J to Swan/anyone (Priddis) then Bartel to Eski or Swallow??
