Reports emerging that Daw was stretchered off in the VFL and is being assessed for a serious leg injury. Fingers crossed!

Just another setback.  :(

Mailman the 2nd

Don't know when his contract expires but my first impression is that he might not play another game

Yeah, I feel like this could be it.

Subtalar dislocation in his foot apparently

6 weeks in a cast according to this article...not as bad as previously thought maybe?

dislocating a bone from your foot is a little more serious than it sounds I think.

Obviously injuring a weight bearing part of the body which is under extreme duress day to day let alone at professional AFL level isn't a good thing.

However when compared to a broken leg which Nigey had me fearing, hopefully the fact he doesn't require surgery is a positive.

Haha, I heard suspected broken leg first and then I heard several other leg injury before everyone just started saying "serious leg injury" before they officially worked it out.

Yeah, serious leg injury first had me thinking knee.
