Due to the timing I cant use Martin as swingman anymore, Thurlow already played. So need to trade to avoid the donut. Who to get?

Got just enough $ for anyone, and will have 1 trade left after completing it.

You wont know if NicNat is out until 90 minutes before the game, so you might end up trading him, and then he plays anyway

I'm pretty sure he wont play. He was always going to get rested every few weeks, and Collingwood's ruck division is rubbish so I expect him to be a late out

Fark! This will destroy my weekend! Got Martin stuck in the Fwds as well, with Pav on the bench. >:(  All I can do is trade him out, swing Martin to rucks and find a cheap fwd. I'd grab sauce if I had the dough as well, though I'm still dirty on him for last year.

Oh of course, I could trade him for any forward as well! That opens up L Parker, McGlynn, and Gray who play on Saturday. And Zorko, N Roo and Cloke who play Sunday.

I would hate to make the trade Nic Nat only to have him play...

I think I owe it to him to give him every last chance, even though the McGlynn trade sounds super tempting right now.

Just remember that by the time you find out he is IN/OUT you wont have any options to trade him to as WCE plays in the last game of the round

I'd trade him, and seeing as you can get fwds too, grab Parker

Let me piggyback onto this thread.

My situation: placed 7th in a tough league, so need to win this week (obviously). Looks like a very close match between me and my opponent. I have no bench cover at ruck, so if Nic Nat doesn't play I get a donut and almost certainly lose. 

I have Nic Nat and Sandi as my rucks, Stefan Martin at FWD, only 1 trade left with $108k in the bank.

Options as I see them:
-Hold and hope Nic Nat plays.
-Hold and hope that word comes down about Nic Nat before the Bulldogs start against St Kilda, so I could trade in Minson at the last minute.
-Trade out Nic Nat for some other ruck (Jacobs, tomorrow morning).
-Shift Stefan Martin to Ruck and trade in a FWD who hasn't played yet (probably Luke Parker).


Thoughts?

McGlynn delivered, but I held on to Nic Nat for now. Still holding my breath for now.

Yep twitter is your best bet
Quite often the teams post up the subs and changes before AFL does

My opponent and I both have him so it doesn't worry me to much if his out but it would have been a big help if I had the E on brown  :-[
