Is it the MCG or Etihad that has cameras in the goal posts? Can they do it for all grounds?

I think they're still in "trial" periods

Mailman the 2nd

Pretty stoked with a 26 point win considering the 25-13 free kick scoreline in Port's favour and the umpires were evidently caught in the wash of purple

I was at the game, first off, congratulations to Sydney, clearly the better team on the night. Our inaccuracy again cost us, plus our utter inability to play wet weathr football, Im really surprised it wasnt a blowout tbh. Umpires were shocking in general tonight, utter disgrace to be perfectly honest, for both sides. Prime example being the marking contest in Ports forward 50 in the last quarter where Jonas had clearly marked it before it getting chopped from his hands. The umpire 2 metres away didnt pay the mark so THE CENTRE CIRCLE UMPIRE blew his whistle and ran in. If thats not shoddy, idk what is. Just no consistency, everyone got away with bloody everything.

Oh, and Buddy is a bloody ugly footballer, Tex the only worse Ive seen. Not talking about frees or anything, just his demeanour reminds me very much of old Bazza Hall.

Oh and a funny story, we had a Sydney fan sitting behind us at the game who kept calling neade a "bloody midget" every time he got the ball. About 10 minutes into the final quarter I turned around and said "Well Id rather have a 3-goal-kicking midget than a bloody useless CHF." That got quite a few laughs and a lot of profanity. :P

JBs-Hawks

Id rather have any one of sydneys first 30 picked players then neade

There was a 'dirty' tactic that I noticed a lot on the weekend.

Around the ground ball ups and a few throw ins. The port ruckman would hold onto the arms/shoulder of whoever was going at the ruck from Sydney, stopping him have any involvement while a 3rd up would jump over and win the tap.

Was pissing me off because I am sure it cant be legal and secondly, if I could see it why werent the Swans players noticing and stopping it???

Rant over.

This happens a lot in most games. Not justifying it but just saying it's not unique to this game.

As for stopping it, there's not a lot the other team can do. If you block the "3rd man jumper" a free is paid against you so it limits way of stopping it.

Midfielders have to do more to limit a 3rd man from getting a run at the contest. You can do that within the rules.  Ruckmen holding in the ruck is a tough one to I reckon. Most of the time we like the wrestle between the two but sometimes it's too much
