Why, with the three picks I will get two players that might become good when they are older, assuming they go to a good club and perform and don't get homesick, actually break into their clubs 22, get given the right role and then score well. And I get a third player who will be rookie listed for two years, but will get elevated prior because of an LTI to a player from his club in his position (100% likely). He will come in, score like a machine, get elevated permanently, turn into a gun.

And I give away a player that only scores well when the team wins, and it old compared to the players I am bringing in.

Haha well the fact that you've only shown the ages of a few of the guys, plus the fact that you've excluded the picks I gave makes me think that the above breakdown isn't really telling the full story ;)

It doesn't matter because it got passed and can't be changed now.  But let's look at you breakdown(for fun)  ;)

The way I see it:
Stanton = N10
Montags = N43                                     Montagna >#43  (Joey is worth around low #20s)

And on averages:
Schulz = Ballantyne  {on average}           Schulz(114avg)  Ballantyne(107avg)
Murphy = Dunn  {on average}                 Murphy(97avg)  Dunn(90avg)
Bartel > Colyer + Broughton + A.Young    Bartel(134avg)  Coyler(97avg)  Broughton(rookie listed 28yo)+Young(spud)

  Bad trade for Dongs, not like they got good young talent in return for 5 starting players.

I took a gun kid in Jimmy Toumpas with #2, has hardly shown his skill since. Boyd, ORouke, picks are sceptical, proven/promising players are not

But it sounds plausible, which just proves that any trade can sound fair if you word it correctly. I'm not hinting any trade specifically (nrich and Toga) but you know what I mean

I ask the people this: If nrich can't trade his good players now, what's he supposed to do? How would you guys go about rebuilding the Dongs? I think he's taking the right path because really, there isn't much else he can do when a majority of coaches have no interest in older players.
