It's wise to ask......and no I dont know how we stand officially on it.

But I think it's safe to say that everyone would be happy for you to take over trading until something is sorted.

Not willing to do anything without consent from all coaches and/or the admin.

I feel I'd be overstepping if I did.

If we can get Koop to come back that be great but trading shouldn't be suspended because of it.

Out of curiosity, is the trade period temporarily suspended? The reason I ask is because of Coop's resignation there's one team without a coach.

Wait what? Koop quit?

I missed this news... :-\ :( ???

That's why I suggested he get in touch with BB  ;)

So are we going to suspend trading for 3 weeks when I get my ban? Stupid question being raised. Did GC, WB, Adelaide have it suspended?

Noz

Not every trade goes through Koop anyway so why should it be suspended?

Nige

Don't appreciate the hostile responses boys, you know they weren't necessary and that I already got my answer yet you still elect to make ridiculous comments in hope of starting something.

You aren't getting banned unless you were the guy who made the other acc to diss Koop, which you weren't?

It's not a great look when every other coach and the administrator reckons the trade shouldn't go through except for the two coaches involved, and then it goes through. It shouldn't have went to the committee especially considering the amount of people against it. Doesn't that mean any trade rejected goes to the committee and almost makes BBs decision pointless.
Agree mate. This is why I reckon blocked trades should need at least 2 outsiders pushing it to be re-evaluated before it goes to the committee
Definitely a good idea imo.
As for this, could make slight changes in the future in order to limit things going to the panel.

Euros don't even have any trade voting and only gets put to a vote by coaches if somebody asks the Admin to do it. Think only 2-3 teams are outliers while the rest are pretty much competitive. No trade that is rejected by the Admin can be reviewed, it just has to be reworked by the parties involved.

the complete dictatorship seems to work well in the euro with a very even comp and not much controversy.

The system seems to have been working well in this comp soo far thought, with only 1 or 2 small things.

I actually agree, Our system does work quite well but there are 1 or 2 trades each year that always come under scrutiny. With a couple of minor changes I feel we can claim or rightful spot on top as the greatest competition  :)

Yeh the trade committee was brought in to take pressure off BB which is a good thing, but most also like BB ruling on everything. Thats the reason I suggested all decisions by BB are upheld unless we get 2-3 (or whateva the number is) of coaches who disapprove. Then it goes to the trade committee

That way IF he does make a mistake, firstly its on us to speak up, then its on the external committee, and it has a chance to be rectified.
