Back to a regular round this week, so no pesky awkward loophole scores that end up being better than all but 5 scores :P
Was also a low-scoring round (relatively) so yeah....

Also, if you have any requests, feel free to ask

Tom Rockliff
Last 3: 110, 190, 137 (average 146)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 77, 81, 138 (average 99)
Last 3 at Gabba: 190, 122, 75 (average 129)
Mids vs Adelaide: 124, 123, 103. Last-3 average of 117, a last 5 average of 114, and a season average of 116. 17/18 tons, but only 6 have passed 120 (10 over 110).
Prediction: You jumped the gun with your "pig" awarding traders... Might be the week to pick a POD captain. Rocky's in amazing form, and does well at the Gabba. BUT he doesn't score too well against Adelaide, and they don't give up big points either - 115

Matt Priddis
Last 3: 100, 147, 83 (average 110)
Last 3 against Collingwood: 137, 115, 75 (average 109)
Last 3 at Subiaco: 147, 118, 109 (average 125)
Mids vs Collingwood: 123, 95, 150. Last-3 average of 123, last-5 average of 118, and a season average of 117. HAlf their scores top 120, including 7/11 since the bye.
Prediction: In great form at Subiaco, and does pretty well against Collingwood (okay, that 75 is an issue), and in good form generally. WC seem poor otherwise, which bodes well for him being top scorer - 120

Bryce Gibbs
Last 3: 89, 115, 118 (average 107)
Last 3 against GoldCoast: 104, 64, 144 (average 104)
Last 3 at Etihad: 115, 67, 139 (average 107)
Mids vs GoldCoast: 115, 190, 168. Last 3 average of 158, last-5 average of 144, and a season average if 128. 8/18 mids top 130! but only 3 have gone on past 140
Prediction: Damn, if only this was a loophole game. Has the potential to throw up some shockers (probably tag related though) and the ability to go bang in a big way. In good form, but inconsistent vs GC and at Etihad, but probably still be a good game - 115

Callan Ward
Last 3: 96, 111, 125 (average 111)
Last 3 against North: 63, 104, 103 (average 90)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 111, 67, 127 (average 102)
Mids vs North: 137, 115, 153. Last-3 average of 135, last-5 average of 127, and a season average of 129. 7/17 mids top 140! and 16/18 over 110.
Prediction: In reasonable form, and good against North (that last game aside) and prone to a tag at home. North generally don't tag though, and given that it is North, should be a nice score here - 115

Dayne Beams
Last 3: 136, 113, 98 (average 116)
Last 3 vs WestCoast: 113, 117, 129 (average 120)
Last 3 at Subiaco: 129, 128, 100 (average 119)
Mids vs WestCoast: 108, 103, 105. Last-3 average of 105, last-5 average of 117, and a season average of 123. Every mid makes the ton, but only 9/18 have passed 120.
Prediction: Didn't realise he was in that great of form, very under-the-radar to me. In great form, does well against WestCoast, and does well at Subiaco, only WC being miserly recently brings this one down - 110

Joel Selwood
Last 3: 137, 140, 121 (average 133)
Last 3 vs Fremantle: 138, 38, 105 (average 94) - jumps to last-3 of 119 if you discount that Crowley tag game from last-year
Last 3 at Simonds: 81, 70, 96 (average 82)
Mids vs Fremantle: 115, 121, 125. Last-3 average of 120, last-5 average of 114, and a season average of 121. 10/18 mids over 120, but only 16/18 tons.
Prediction: Thank you Geelong! SJ being un-suspended means a much better score for Jelwood. In good form against Freo, and in good form. Patchy at home though, but seems to have turned the corner in recent weeks - 115

Steve Johnson
Last 3: 67, 145, 130 (average 114)
Last 3 vs Fremantle: 56, 68, 102 (average 75)
Last 3 at Simonds: 131, 168, 121 (average 140)
Mids vs Freo: 115, 121, 125. Last-3 average of 120, last-5 average of 114, and a season average of 121. Give up around 4 tons per game, and seems to be to mainly Mids (1 or 2 exceptions)
Prediction: Hmmmm, Crowley says hi. Geelong record is POOR, but rips it up at Simonds, and in decent form. But Crowley is just too devastating on him (as we saw earlier in the season) - 75

Michael Barlow
Last 3: 124, 97, 89 (average 103)
Last 3 vs Geelong: 98, 127, 52 (average 92)
Last 3 at Simonds: NEVER PLAYED
Mids vs Geelong: 105, 113, 94. Last-3 average of 104, last-5 average of 117, and a season average of 119. 14/18 tons, but 8/18 over 120.
Prediction: Seems like he's been around forever, yet hasn't played at Simonds before. In good form, and does pretty well against Geelong. Geelong don't give up big scores though, so bring him down a little. Tends to avoid the tag, so should still ton up, just won't be big - 105

Dyson Heppell
Last 3: 101, 103, 83 (average 96)
Last 3 vs Richmond: 82, 92, 96 (average 90)
Last 3 at MCG: 83, 102, 82 (average 89)
Mids vs Richmond: 116, 147, 132. Last-3 average of 132, last-5 average of 129, and a season average of 125. 10/18 pass 120, and 17/18 pass 110.
Prediction: Hmmm, should score well against Richmond, but only seems solid for a ton, rather than the potential to really rack them up. Should still be a good score, but likely not the best midfielder - 105

Brendon Goddard
Last 3: 68, 62, 87 (average 72)
Last 3 vs Richmond: 128, 149, 144 (average 140)
Last 3 at MCG: 150, 68, 128 (average 115)
Mids vs Richmond: 116, 147, 132. Last-3 of 132, last-5 of 129. 17/18 over 110, and 8/18 over 130.
Prediction: This is your best chance to break your form slump. Rips it up against Richmond, and does well at the MCG, but in HORRID form, it's a very risky option - 110

List Of Options:
Matt Priddis - 120
Bryce Gibbs - 115
Tom Rockliff - 115
Callan Ward - 115
Joel Selwood - 115
Brendon Goddard - 110*
Dayne Beams - 110
Michael Barlow - 105
Dyson Heppell - 105
Steve Johnson - 75

Yes, it is strange to see Rockliff not number 1 at the Gabba, but Adelaide are the worst team to play for scoring potential

#1
Adam Treloar
Last 3: 103, 95, 109 (average 102)
Last 3 vs North: 105, 90 (average 98)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 95, 109, 91 (average 98)
Mids vs North: 137, 115, 153. Last-3 of 135, last-5 of 127, season average of 129. 16/18 over 110, and half of those also pass 130 (with 7 going on past 140)
Prediction: Looks good against North, and looks good at Showgrounds, and is in reasonable form. Shame he starts off slowly though, he'd be a LOT better if he was on 50 at HT instead of the usual 20 - 115

Levi Greenwood
Last 3: 105, 92, 98 (average 98)
Last 3 vs GWS: 61 (only game)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: Never played (had a 66 this year at SCG though)
Mids vs GWS: 125, 145, 110. Last-3 average of 127, last-5 average of 132, season average of 122. 15/18 over 110, and 10/18 over 120.
Prediction: You're taking this based on his form, and the fact that GWS give up a few points recently. NO HISTORY at Showgrounds, and limited against GWS, and in Sydney itself. Did poorly against the Swans this year though, so I guess that takes him down a peg - 105

Brad Ebert
Last 3: 102, 55, 87 (average 81)
Last 3 vs Sydney: 136, 114, 123 (average 124)
Last 3 at AdelaideOval: 102, 87, 98 (average 96)
Mids vs Sydney: 101, 119, 118. Last-3 of 113, last-5 of 111, season average of 122. 16/18 tons, and 7/18 over 130.
Prediction: TEARS it up against Sydney, so that works for him. But in reasonable form otherwise, and pretty solid at home. Should be a decent performance - 110

Brad Crouch
Last 3: 106, 95, 101 (average 101)
Last 3 vs Brisbane: 62 (only game)
Last 3 at Gabba: 62 (only game)
Mids vs Brisbane: 99, 107, 106. Last-3 average of 104, last-5 of 109. 15/18 pass 110, but none in the last 3. Only given up 1 ton in each of their last 3 games too.
Prediction: back to where it all began, making his debut here in rd2 last year. Brisbane are just too miserly right now, can't even guarentee him a ton, but is in reasonable form - 85

Marc Murphy
Last 3: 87, 88, 113 (average 96)
Last 3 vs GoldCoast: 76, 92, 129 (average 99)
Last 3 at Etihad: 88, 87, 84 (average 86)
Mids vs GoldCoast: 115, 190, 168. Last-3 of 158, last-5 of 144, season of 128. 8/18 over 30, and 15/18 over 110. Average 4-tons per game since Gaj went down (in line with their season average too)
Prediction: Numbers speak for themselves, it's only okay. Decent against GoldCoast, and in good form, but okay at Etihad - probably a ton, but not much more - 100

JP Kennedy
Last 3: 88, 101, 130 (average 106)
Last 3 vs Port: 94, 92, 94 (average 93)
Last 3 at AdelaideOval: 83 (only game, 3 90s in his Adelaide-city history though, no tons)
Mids vs Port: 142, 130, 100. Last-3 of 124, last-5 of 126, and season of 124. 9/18 pass 120, and 18/18 tons.
Prediction: In reasonable form, but no recent tons vs Port, and no tons in Adelaide itself. I'm banking on that changing this week, but not too much - 110

Scott Pendlebury
Last 3: 95, 97, 84 (average 92)
Last 3 vs WestCoast: 119, 128, 119 (average 122)
Last 3 at Subiaco: 92, 129, 145 (average 122)
Mids vs WestCoast: 108, 103, 105. Last-3 of 105, last-5 of 117, season average of 123. 9/18 over 120, and give up around 3 tons per game.
Prediction: Very nice against WestCoast, and looks to enjoy the trip out west too. In poor form though, but should still notch up a ton here - 100

David Zaharakis
Last 3: 80, 47, 98 (average 75)
Last 3 vs Richmond: 131, 74, 91 (average 99)
Last 3 at MCG: 98, 126, 131 (average 118)
Mids vs Richmond: 116, 147, 132. Last-3 of 132, last-5 of 129. Give up 3 tons per game, and typically all to mids (which I'm classing him as)
Prediction: I think he might like playing at the MCG. Good history against Richmond, but like another of his teammates (Goddard) also in horrendus form, so can't give him a big score - 95

Steele Sidebottom
Last 3: 142, 123, 109 (average 125)
Last 3 vs WestCoast: 115, 105, 101 (average 107)
Last 3 at Subiaco: 119, 96, 87 (average 101)
Mids vs WestCoast: 108, 103, 105. Last-3 of 105, last-5 of 117, season average of 123. 9/18 over 120, and give up around 3 tons per game.
Prediction: I wonder if he'll cop a tag at some point? Surely he's a threat? WestCoast don't really tag though, and he's in ripper form, so should be another good score here - 110

Andrew Gaff
Last 3: 124, 83, 61 (average 89)
Last 3 vs Collingwood: 105, 54, 90 (average 83)
Last 3 at Subiaco: 83, 100, 75 (average 86)
Mids vs Collingwood: 123, 95, 150. Last 3 average of 123, last-5 of 118, season of 117. 14/18 tons, and 9/18 over 120. Ton-wise: 6, 0, 4 (last-3 of 3, last-5 of 3, and season of 3)
Prediction: If you're sure he won't get a nice Macaffer tag (don't really follow WC, so don't know) - then form is prone to a tag, as well as his Collingwood history. But good when he's not tagged, and seems pretty solid at home - 95

Lenny Hayes
Last 3: 115, 114, 93 (average 107)
Last 3 vs WB: 69, 130, 126 (average 108)
Last 3 at Etihad: 114, 82, 95 (average 97)
Mids vs WB: 117, 103, 116. Last-3 of 112, last-5 of 116, season of 118. 17/18 makes the ton, and 7/18 make 120 (but only 3 over 130)
Prediction: You could do worse. In good form, and reasonable against WB (but his 2 better scores came in 2012), and in good form at Etihad. - 100

Pearce Hanley
Last 3: 102, 182, 67 (average 117)
Last 3 vs Adelaide: 124, 94, 91 (average 103)
Last 3 at Gabba: 182, 67, 133 (average 127)
DEFs vs Adelaide: 86, 96, 99. Last-3 average of 94, last-5 average of 88, season average of 93. Only Hibberd and Smitchell have hit the ton vs Adelaide since rd12.
Prediction: In great form, and does well at Adelaide, and at the Gabba. BUT unfortunately, that ton-less stat stands out to me (and yes, I know he can sometimes play midfield), and I think it'll continue here, but he'll go damn close - 99

Jarrad McVeigh
Last 3: 100, 86, 124 (average 103)
Last 3 vs Port: 92, 97, 72 (average 87)
Last 3 at AdelaideOval: 83 (only game) - did average 90 in his last 3 games at FootyPark though
DEFs vs Port: 98, 87, 122. Last-3 average of 102, last-5 average of 89, season average of 92. 5/18 over 100, and 2 of which have passed 120. Generally Port give up 2.5 tons per game (4 last game)
Prediction: Looks like a pretty solid contributor here. In good form against Port, and seems to like the trip to SA, as well as being in good form - 99

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 102, 129, 168 (average 133)
Last 3 vs StKilda: 68 (only game)
Last 3 at Etihad: 129, 71, 117 (average 106)
Mids vs StKilda: 108, 99, 124. Last-3 average of 110, last-5 average of 111, season average of 122. 11/18 over 120. but only 2 scores over 110 since rd14 (was 10/12 over 110 at that point)
Prediction: In great form since his vesting, and does well at Etihad. But POOR against StKilda (it was last year though) and StKilda don't give up big individual scores (that history tells you a lot), likely to ton up, but won't be a big score - 105

Luke Hodge
Last 3: 96, 106, 99 (average 100)
Last 3 vs Dees: 53, 108, 75 (average 79)
Last 3 at MCG: 106, 103, 77 (average 95)
DEFs vs Dees: 115, 108, 118. Last-3 of 114, last-5 of 103, season of 98. 10/18 make the ton, and 5/18 pass 110. If he's a mid though, increase it by 20%
Prediction: Unfortunately, I'm classing him as a def, which is naturally poorer scores. Typically VERY inconsistent vs Dees (played 6 times since 2007, 3 scores under 80, and an average of 89 - either boom or bust for him). However looks in good form, and does well at the MCG, so I'd bank on him being normal of recent and turning that 50-odd around - 95

REQUESTS
Adam Treloar - 115
Steele Sidebottom - 110
Brad Ebert - 110
JP Kennedy - 110
Levi Greenwood - 105
Jack Macrae - 105
Marc Murphy - 100
Scott Pendlebury - 100
Lenny Hayes - 100
Jarrad McVeigh - 99
Pearce Hanley - 99
David Zaharakis - 95
Luke Hodge - 95
Andrew Gaff - 95 (if not tagged)
Brad Crouch - 85

Note: I cannot split Ward and Treloar, one to get around 115, and the other to potentially top 130. Your call, but I'd lean toward Ward (generally goes bang more often)

Nige

My boys Treloar, Greenwood and Ebert please!  :D

Ricochet

Can you boys look at MMurphy please lads

Serial_T

JPK and Pendles thanks.
And in case SJ is successful with his tribunal appeal: SJ and a non-tagged J Selwood.

timmyparso

Steele Sidebottom and David Zaharakis please

pommyadam

have updated requests

I'm holding off on SJ vs tribunal for an actual result (will amend Jelwood and put up SJ)
so current write-up is if SJ gets banned

Nige

Cheers PA!  8)

I do have one more actually - Andrew Gaff.

Looking at him for my AXVs captain, I'll interpret/adjust your prediction to the scoring system accordingly.

depends on if he gets a nice tagger, looks good if not, but if tagged then it'll be a poor one (Macaffer went to Shuey before, and generally seems to cop more tags) - my writeup is Macaffer->Shuey

jvalles69

I'm bringing in Sidebottom this week and captainiing him against my Eagles, Hutchings is already going to Pendlebury, so he won't get tagged.

So who is McGinnity going to then?
It'll either be Sidey or Beams

McGinnity isn't anything to be afraid of. Sloane had 26 and kicked 1.1 on him on the wkend

Would love to see your thoughts on Hanley and McVeigh please!

GoLions

Just an FYI with Rocky, he was playing mostly forward in the games where he went <100 against the Crows
