Have updated the OP with the news of SJ now playing (and given him a writeup too)

Have also updated requests, Hanley and McVeigh both look tempting to ton up, but the opposition will have to be worse than average to let them, shame really - probably being harsh with both cases

@GoLions - my prediction is more based on how restrictive Adelaide are (4 scores over 120 since rd3 to the best midfielders, since-bye average of 117) rather than Rocky's FWD-ness against them in the past
I'd like to be wrong though, but that's just my prediction

QuoteMatthew Janesch
"Tommy Rockliff is averaging over 30 possessions this year so he's the main one we need to shut down.

Yeah I'm not saying he will score well, just that his history isn't much to go on
Also if the Crows to attempt to tag Rocky as Jaensch has said, Hanley could be in for a big game

kilbluff1985

traded N Jones to Ward this week not sure i have the balls to make him C over Rocky

Was 1k short of Sidebottom so have gone with Mcrae, good sneaky captain choice?

pommyadam

have given a writeup to Macrae
honestly think Calvin's been seeing too much into the fact that StKilda give up a lot of team points, rather than individual efforts (cause he's #2 there)

honestly, I'd rather go with Priddis, WC have a VERY friendly runin (or Dees and GC in the last 2 rounds)

I don't have rocky and with no trades left (DT) I can't get him. It's a do or die for me in the top 8 this week. I can't decide between priddis or jelwood. Help!

Could you please do a writeup for Hodgey? Reckon he'll tear it up against the Dees for my BXV :D

is inconsistent as heck vs Dees, really has the ability to rack it up, or just be held down tightly (3 scores under 80 since 2007)
I'm banking on Hawthorn keeping the pressure on for %age, which should see some nice friendly scores

kilbluff1985

regarding Rocky, besides this year should we read to much into his history of scoring vs teams since he played forward often?

yes and no

I've justified my scoring this week based on the Adelaide stingy-ness, rather than his history (which I admit did have a slight impact)
-most notable being 4 scores over 120 since the bye, and 5/11 being over 115

it also depends when they're played though - seems like only 2012 where he was bunged up forward in a non-relevant role
eg... next week, vs Collingwood in 2011 and in 2010 (are his 2 most recent) - he went head to head with Sidey [Sidey got 35 possies], and roamed free for 30 touches - which doesn't sound like forward material to me

as I should stress though, this page is purely my best guesswork based on the history/form/other things - your team, your decision

edit: can tell you for next week, it'll be interesting
Essendon can leak (for Priddis), Collingwood leak (for Rocky) and Hawthorn leak (for Barlow)

edit2 (post Brisbane game): proves what I know :( - 4 scores for the season over 130 (2 of which happened in rd1 and 2) and then you give up the 3rd highest score all season - Rocky, why do I doubt you?
