Points vs bench cover

Ok, down to my last 2 trades which I should probably hold but also a bit of a now or never situation on my hands.

So, I flowered up over the weekend and managed to not trade in Ward for M.Crouch, and now that swap is too expensive. I'm now faced with a dilemma, do I trade in Ward at the expense of bench cover, or do I trade in someone cheaper like Libba?

Team is:

McVeigh, Swallow, Bartel, Simpson, Smitchell, Hibberd (Suckling, Cutler)
Pendles, Rocky, Fyfe, JPK, Jelwood, Beams, Prestia, Miles (M.Crouch, Honeychurch)
Mummy, Sandi (B.Brown, Currie)
Danger, Gray, Dustbin, Zorko, Roughy, S.Martin (Pav, Lennon)

2 trades, $320,600.

My plan was to get Ward for Crouch, put Miles on the bench and then I had a good player on the bench for each of D,M,F, and DPP cover for rucks. Now that can't happen, do I trade Miles for Ward to get him in, using Honeychurch DPP to cover mids, or do I pick a cheaper option and keep Miles?

My worry if I trade Miles is that then effectively Pav is covering Forward, Ruck and Mid, 2 outs and I'd be in trouble...

Hibberd has to go, straight swap to Birchall is tempting but gives me three Hawks in the backline... If I trade Miles to Ward then I have enough cash to get anyone (probably Eski/Hanley)... If I go Crouch to Libba then I have Miles on the bench but could only afford a defender under 476k - Birchall, Burgoyne, Johnson, Heater, Hurn, Jaensch, Bob Murphy - no particularly standout options...

So, balls out for finals or play conservative? Ward + Hanley/Eski for points or Libba + someone average for cover?

Balls out if you did not finish top 4 probably conservative if you did but wait till teams are out , they say Swallow will play lets see if he does who knows what suprises are waiting for us  ::)

finished #1 in both my cash and uni league. #15 in FF Bronze, meh. Still very tempted to just balls out anyway but yeah probably best to just wait for teams, I like having a plan first though :P

I'd keep Hibberd until u are copping a donut. U have Suckling to play - and like me only 2 trades. I'd play conservative - u never know what injuries/suspensions will happen.

I'd keep Miles as cover and get someting like Libba and Heater. I got Birchall last week and happy so far. Hanley could struggle with Caff and Crowley and as Birchall showed me last round u can get a defender who is alot cheaper but score decently.

Bump :D

here's the skinny, 2 trades 320k remaining

Crouch to Libba, hold final trade is very tempting, I don't think Honeychurch will make the cut over Gia. Late out and he could be the one in though which could give me grief if I try to loophole Prestia...

Open to suggestions.

yeah go Crouch to Libba then you can loophole Miles ;D
