curious if i can unpass my picks?

unsure on my plans if the WHE trade goes through

Ringo

Can be readjusted up to final lodgement KB.

Ringo mate Dragons have pick 40 not Bunnies  ;)

and while your at it we will be using picks 42 and 58 now after the WHE trade has changed our draft plans a bit so that should leave us 2 picks in the rookie draft as i count 40 on our list right now

Nige

After delistings and stuff, it looks like I'll need to take 7 picks. That means I'm gonna need my 4th rounder again Ringo which I am no longer passing on.

Will be taking all four Nat picks and three Rookie picks.

Can someone remind me how many players we will need in total after drafting? Was looking for it but can't find it.

We currently have 35 and have 12 picks including Nat and Rookie. I'm guessing we won't need all of them?

Thanks mate. Looks like we won't be needing our two supplementary rookie picks then Ringo.

Just for clarification if you think you can get better picks in the Rookie draft for this year only you can pass on national Draft picks if desired. eg if you think you can get say a better 4th round pick in the rookie draft than with 4th pick in the National you can opt to pass on a pick and will be allocated a supplementary pick based on ladder finishing positions.

Hope that explains it but for this year only with the recycled draft.

Thanks for that - do we need to announce if we want to do this pre-draft or if it gets to our pick and there's no-one we like we can pass and take the rookie pick?

Rids

All the nat picks for the Giants are correct. There wont be any passing for us. We are likely to need anywhere up to 16 picks for both drafts combined. List and delistings to be finalised over the next week or so.

If passing is not nominated prior to start of draft and pick is passed during draft, then if pick is to be in supplementary draft picks will be added to the end of published supplementary draft picks. Do not think it is fair to push other teams down the rookie list who have already nominated to pass.

Good Morning coaches

Here is the number of players I currently have on lists together with total number of draft picks you have for the National and Rookie Draft. This is list as at midnight 24th November so trades to come and subsequent delistings will be updated.

Birmingham Dragons 39 players with 6 draft picks
Blackpool Bunnies  40 players with 5 draft picks
Bradford Badgers 41 players with 4 draft picks
Crosby Cruisers 36 players with 9 draft picks
Grope Lane Giants 31 players with 14 draft picks
Hastings Hurricanes 34 players with 11 draft picks
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 39 players with 6 draft picks
Huddersfield Hawks 36 players with 9 draft picks
Leeds Leaches 41 players with 4 draft picks (Jason Winderlich is showing as reired so may need to be reinstated if you wish)
Liverpool Rams  37 players with 8 draft picks.
Manchester Magic 43 players with 2 draft picks
Nottingham Hoods 37 players with 8 draft picks
Oxford Owls 41 players with 4 drafy picks
Staines Steins 33 players with 12 draft picks
Swansea Breakers 33 players with 12 draft picks
Winchester Werewolves 36 players with 9 draft picks

If these are not correct please PM me so we can verify lists

As all teams with the exception of Magic have at least 4 picks available I am proposing to start the National Draft at 9:00am on Friday Morning 28th November. Do not think it will create any problems by starting national Draft prior to the final de-listings.

You will still have the opportunity to de-list prior to national Draft if you want to take all  picks in that draft or you can nominate to pass,

Will then sort out Rookie Draft picks.

nostradamus

Does that mean that in theory someone could pick a player in the Nat draft and then subsequently delist them anyway?

Ringo

In theory correct Nostra but why would you do this.  Delistings required in one week any way.

Delisted player will go onto the rookie draft list as well allowing other teams to pick him up as well.
