Well, it's a pretty strange occurrence to begin with... but I suppose is just another one of many things to be looked at in the end of year review on the comp rules.

Not sure who Nails would have C'd and VC'd, but it would have been close.

Atm, this the only rule we have about an "incomplete team", which is about a rolling lockout.

In this case, using last week's captains does not change the result.

We have had a slightly similar situation before, where a team had not named a VC or EVC. In this instance, no VC bonus was given to any player, and I feel that is pretty much the same with the Dongs not naming a C or VC.

So my ruling on the issue, seeing as it has no real bearing on results, is that the Dongs will not receive a captaincy bonus this week, but perhaps this does need to be amended in the rules.

Last year if we didnt name a captain we got the previous weeks. Happened to me once i didnt name so got the previous weeks and my VC wasnt playing so didnt get a VC.
