With 6 trades left should I bring in JPK for Cotchin?

With a breakeven of 159, if I'm going to offload Cotch then this is the week to do it.

I have 6 trades left and 243k in the bank.

Too sideways or should I pull the trigger?

The problem with waiting a week is that even against GWS, Cotchin is very unlikely to reach his 159 BE so will have a decent drop in price. JPK is very likely to reach his BE of 98 this week against the Bombers who he usually monsters so he'll go up quite a bit in price.

I want to have as much cash in the bank as possible for other trades so this has to be the week if I'm going to do the trade.

Walker and Gunston should be the ones you should be upgrading. Or look at improving your cover in the mids and defence. Georgiou and hunt and honeychurch and langdon is very poor cover. He had a good 3 weeks in a row but there were many times this year that I was thinking about trading him out before that. Overall this year he has not scored like a premium midfielder.

I'm definitely thinking about Walker to Gray or Boomer but it's not high on the priority list. With 6 trades left I'm not worried about coverage as I can trade my way out of trouble. Plus I have Langdon as ok cover for my defence.

Conditions didn't really suit on the weekend, but I can understand you wanting to trade to a much safer bet. Tough call, I have Cotch & think he's a good chance to knock out tons over the next few weeks. GWS, Essendon, Crows, St Kilda & Sydney don't have any noted taggers so he'll be given free reign. Maybe Hocking goes to him but Deledio usually gets the heavy attention.

I reckon JPK will continue to average 15+ more points than Cotchin for the rest of the season. Great trade if you don't have other issues.
