So here's my team.

DEF: D.Swallow, Mcveigh, K.Simpson, Hibberd, Enright, Hurn    (Suckling, Bews)
MID: Pendlebury, J.Selwood, Beams, Cotchin, Rockliff, S.Johnson, Goddard, Swan    (Miles, Honeychurch)
RUCK: Jacobs, Sandilands    (Brown, King)
FWD: Dangerfield, Parker, Grey, D.Martin, Zorko, Dahlhaus    (S.Martin, C.Cameron)

$30.7k in the bank, 2 trades  :(

Want to get rid of Swan but there aren't too many options. Mitchell seems like the logical move but I've only got 2 trades left for the season! Used my third trade last week to get in gray (so can only use 1 more this round).

Was hoping Mitchell would open up some DPP links, but he can only really swap with Swallow and Mcveigh. Was thinking I could get Jayden Hunt instead (a non playing melbourne rookie with D/M positions) and save the money for 1 last hoorah. Means that Miles starts in the Mid but suckling is technically Def AND Mid cover.

Thought it also might help to know I'm going for overall rank rather than leagues. Currently 1255 so not too shabby.

Anyway, help appreciated.

Its def Mitchell week isn't it

Trade Swan too Mitchell and keep your last trade for insurance, you have good cover on all lines so just swap Swan for the best option which is prob Mitchell

Only other M/D option is Burgoyne, or a M/F option is Chappy or a straight mid Montagna, Griffin, Stanton or Ebert. All capable of great scores on their day......but Mitchell looks the most reliable.

If you are going for overall it might be worth just using Miles this week to cover Swan and just see how things pan out week by week and keep those 2 trades as long as possible , I'm pretty sure you are going to need them in the run home , the rest of your team looks strong with good cover

Pretty sure you're right but I hate the look of Swan sitting there wasting a bench spot haha. Those trades will most likely be so handy though. And Miles has yet to let me down..

I'm now leaning towards the "don't trade" side.

Smart move if overall is your goal and like you said Miles has been going ok
