Hi guys,
I am currently 5th in my cash league and would ideally like to finish top4 if possible.
A win this week (I am playing the ladder leader) would help and it is going down to the wire.

Any advice or alternate suggestions are appreciated because the members on here are a large part of the reason I am where I am today in Supercoach.

Here is my situation....

5 trades left & $200k in the bank (I still have a trade up my sleeve for this round.)
DEF- SWALLOW, MCVEIGH, SIMPSON, ENRIGHT, SUCKLING, S THOMPSON (cutler, mcstay)
MID-PENDLES, LIBBA, ROCKY, SELWOOD, STEVIE J, BEAMS, BARLOW, SWAN (morabito, acres)
RUCK-SANDI, MINSON (currie, king)
FWD-DANGER, PARKER, DUSTY, ZORKO, BUDDY, CLOKE (ambrose, ccameron)

Option 1- Trade for the win this week with Swan to JPK. JPK B/E 140.

Option 2- Trade Suckling for SMitchell before he rises in price but risk not getting the win this week and risk finishing outside of top 4 and losing double chance.

Option 3- Keep the trade so I can take maximum trades into the finals but again risk finishing outside of top 4 and losing double chance.

Hit me up fellas!

Cheers.

Are you going to be able to win with a Sandi donut in the ruck? Maybe your opponent has a Sandi donut too?

I would definitely be going with option 1 regardless. Swan has to go and there's no point in holding on to him as he'll miss the next 4 weeks. JPK definitely the best option of the players who haven't yet played this round.

Hang on to your remaining 4 trades for the last 5 rounds of the season.

Good luck and hopefully you can knock off the ladder leader this week!

DefinitelySwam to JPK this week and then hold - with 4 trades in finals you are in a good position.

Ben is correct unless your opponent has a Sandi doughnut you are behind the 8 ball , I would be more worried about having Thomson on the field he has thrown some very ugly scores I have him to and have put him on the bench to loophole where possible , as for this week Swan to JPK looks the way to go then maybe next week if there is a cheap forward playing or Cameron is back get rid of Ambrose and Cutler for another back Mitchell if you can afford

You can't afford a donut if you want to win this week but...

...might have to cop that and give up hope of a top 4 finish.

Thanks fever, Ringo, Shaker and of course #1doctor.

As stated my opponent has sand with no cover also but has Goddard, Hibberd and Bartel who all scored poorly and that's why I am a little in front of him so far this round. Add to that my Capt is Stevie J and his is Pendles (yet to play) and i am in a good position.

Seems like trading Swan to JPK will be inevitable so may as well do it this week and go for the win.

Thanks again FF Guys!!

there is one other option.........

*this week go Swan to Mitchell.

*then next week trade out Suckling, swing Mitchell into the backline and get in JPK

......l know that'll leave you with only 3 trade, but think its worth considering

I would do the swan Mitchell trade too

Asparagus

can you explain something to me?
with your suggestion below that you made..how do I trade Suckling out for JPK?
I can do swan to smitch this week and then next week swing smitch to the back line with say D Swallow BUT I am lost as how to get JPK into the mid?

What am I missing?

Ringo

How you do it is Swan to Mitchell this week leaving Mitchell in mids.

Next week trade Suckling.  Nominate Suckling as your trade in the Trade room and then select the s beside mitchell on the left hand side to move Mitchell to Sucklings position and trade Suckling now as a mid to JPK.
