Op will be kept up to date.
To take part in draft you must have vacancies on lists to enable players to be picked. You can opt to retain players and not take all draft picks if so desired.

Vinny

Oh okay, thanks KB.

I'll also delist Brett O'Hanlon then.

Yeah I didn't get why there was 2 delisting periods. Might as well keep the shower players are potential sweeteners.

I think it was mainly just to delist the actual delisted and retired AFL players.

Vinny

But half the teams haven't even announced their delistings for the year? I don't really get it either. Not complaining but it just makes no sense.

It's because rookie draft picks are going to be more important this year with the leftover players from the disbanded teams, Ringo wanted to finalise the rookie draft order to enable these picks to be used in trades.

Vinny

Oh okay, but say we delist a player now, we aren't just gonna be stuck with a pick at the end of the draft are we?

Yes you are.

But, I'd be trading to get a better pick so that you don't just get a real late pick.

That's what we have done.

We have 10 free spots on our list now and 10 picks in the nat/rookie drafts to take

Ringo

I acn not be held be responsible if coaches did not read all my advices regarding delistings and what is to happen. it is your won fault if you chose to ignore what I have written.

So basically any delistings from now as quoted in rules will give you picks in the supplementary rookie draft. You were instructed to de-list sufficient players to enable all picks to be taken 4 in national Draft and 3 in rookie draft so if you did not then that is now your problem. Instructions were clear.

Exception will be made for Lez who I will give till Midnight Sunday to delist further players as a result of his being banned.

Sorry for my harshness but I go to considerable effort to advise what is happening and then have this crap thrown up when all has been specified previously. And it is extremely annoying as an administrator.

I will reiterate for you all that if you do not have 7 vacancies on your list and if i am not advised differently your picks will be taken as follows until your picks are exhausted. 4 picks in the National Draft then rookie draft so basically any one who only has 4 vacancies will have no Rookie draft picks unless I am advised differently as per previous advices.

Vinny

All good Ringo, know you are doing your best. Sorry I should have read it properly.
