Not too late final date for de-listings is November 25th so you can de-list now if desired.

Alright then yes please - Georgiou out.

JBs-Hawks

Shouldnt it be after the drafts in case our players get picked up?

Ringo

Rookie Draft will follow straight after National Draft so need to have draft orders set for both drafts in case coaches wish to pass on National Draft Picks if desired. If coaches wish to hold off delisting until after the rookie draft on December 3rd happy to work to that deadline. Will mean though we can not start the National Draft and then Rookie draft till Saturday 6th December at earliest.

Just concerned with the weeks delay may run over Christmas New Year Period.  Can we get drafts done in just over 2 weeks is the question. Really want it finalised though before I leave for the US on 10th January,

Comments now on this timetable.

Wednesday 26th November Midnight Trading will cease

Thursday 27th November - Final ruling on trades

Wednesday 3rd December midnight - Final delistments

by Friday 5th December final draft order for both drafts published.

Draft can commence on publication.

Please comment whether happy with this or wish to stick to original timetable.

Only issue with original timetable you will not know whether any players that have been de-listed, and you may wish to keep, have been picked up by another club.

So by reverting to original timetable you take a risk which is ok by me as well.

For comparison purposes here is the original time table
November 23rd Trade Period closes
November 24th Final approval of trades
November 25th Final De-listing of Players
November 26th - Nomination of any draft picks not being taken in National Draft
Final Adjustment of Rookie draft list.
November 27th- National Draft commences at conclusion of AFL Draft,
Preseason Rookie draft at conclusion of National Draft.

Happy either way to be honest. I'm always around so there will be no problems with us getting the drafts started.

I think the new timetable is probably better but I'm not going to argue the point if we want to keep the old one.

Just wanted to clarify Ringo, I assume the bolded part is based on the (fairly safe) assumption that the BXV National Draft will extend past December 3 when the AFL Rookie Draft occurs?

Rids

I would prefer the original plan but easy either way.

I just think that starting at Dec 3 increases the chances of the drafts running into the Christmas period. First world problems haha!

Yeah I reckon if we can wait until AFL lists are confirmed before drafting that'll be the best way to do it.

Also, Dom Barry quits the Dees! That makes it 10 forced delistings for the premiers :o

To answer Rusty with the AFL now doing the Rookie Draft etc one week after the National Draft we will be having our 2 drafts run straight after one another.  Had also thought if new model introduced of running them concurrently but that may be a bit more difficult to manage.
